"Had a great dinner at Stellina, the very atmospheric and fun offshoot of highly regarded Italian restaurant Fortunato. Stellina is a bar with excellent cocktails, dim lights and good music AND you can order the full menu from Fortunato next door. My wife and I split an escarole and raddichio salad with pancetta and a lamb meatball pizza with arugula. Cocktails were great, the house red was quaffable and the food was outstanding."

"Tried to get reservations at Fortuna, but could not. Stellina offers their menu and is right beside them. Stellina is small and on a Friday they were packed in. Scored at the bar which worked fine for me. Service was lukewarm, but still ok. Service started out slow and improved. However, no check-ins were performed at all. I was given a cocktail and food menu. I knew I wanted an Old Fashioned and dropped an order for their lamb meatballs. Shortly after I decided on the eggplant Parmesan main. My drink with Rittenhouse Rye bourbon was tasty, just not much of it price at $17 steep too! I also ordered a specialty hot rum drink with pumpkin spice at $10 that was amazing! The meatballs hit quickly and were devoured! So yummy! About 15 minutes later the main dropped and was huge! Really quality and flavorful for a vegetarian dish. Overall the food was better than the service and prices were stretched. 3.5 rounding down."

"What a lovely experience. Stopped in and had two fantastic cocktails. Dark rum and gin. Who ever is designing their menu has a varried pallet and knows flavor. Our bartender was kind and very engaging. I highly recommend stopping by while visiting Roanoke."

"Great small bar to have an excellent cocktail and great food. Stopped by for a drink and small bites. Have not been here before, pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere Very small inside, but a cozy feel. Full bar, and small tables, perfect for couples or small groups. Sat at the bar, ordered drinks and appetizers. The food is the same menu from Fortunato need door, a very good Italian kitchen and Neapolitan pizza restaurant. That was packed (Friday at 7pm), so if you don’t have reservations, this gets you the same. Service Outstanding! The young woman who was tending bar was excellent…knew everything about the menu, and was attentive yet not intrusive. Best part was when I asked is she could make a traditional daiquiri (shaken, neat in a coupe glass). This is a sticky point at most bars these days as most often the bartenders have no idea how to make something like this, even though it’s been around for years. However she said it was a favorite of hers, and served me a perfectly made, delicious daiquiri. Also made my wife an excellent old fashioned…well done! Food We ordered a couple antipasti off the menu, Lamb meatballs and Formaggi, both were amazing. The meatballs were delicious, spiced perfectly, in a tasty marinara and cheese sauce. The Formaggi was also delicious, 3 small cheese varieties, with bread, artichokes, and an amazing Mostarda, which is similar to a chutney but made with fruit, in this case we were informed, strawberries. Outstanding flavor to all our food, and the two appetizers were perfect for a light meal. Only very small down for us was the music was a bit loud, and sometimes a little too frantic. Yes, sigh…we are older, and always are aware of loud music! It wasn’t overwhelming, or we would have not stayed, but that would be our only small critique. Very much enjoyed our visit! Would I go back…absolutely Would I recommend…most definitely"

"If you are looking for a super fun cocktail bar, you have found it. The drinks are stellar! The service is prompt, friendly, and personable. Their Christmas pop up was awesome, but they are awesome year round, so no surprise there. Do not walk, run to this place."
