from Google"Not just a place to grab a bite while you’re in the bike shop, this place has SERIOUSLY great food!!!! Smoothies are amazing too. The chefs are always cooking up new specials too, I’ve never been disappointed by anything I’ve eaten here!"
"Cardinal Bicycle Cafe is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Roanoke. The staff is always welcoming and kind, and the food is consistently excellent. My go-tos: the Brunch Burrito, House Waffles, and—hands down—the best Avocado Toast in the city. The house-made blueberry waffles are always a hit. And no, it is not a Waffle House—no scattered chaos here—but the menu is dialed in and genuinely great. When I want something lighter, a Field Day smoothie is a solid choice—the Ekto Kooler is delicious and filling. It is also a great place to get work done: bar seating, tables, and a comfy couch make it easy to settle in. For lunch, the Cove wrap and the pastrami sandwich are both winners; the pastrami is on the heavier side, both made with local Yard Bull Meats. Highly recommend!"
"Don’t be confused by the store sign for bikes! It’s a bike shop AND a cafe. Very friendly customer service. I had chai latte and it was nice (light flavor). Nice comfortable couch to sit and sip on a warm drink while browsing through their Blueridge Mountain picture books on the table."
"The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. The staff is very appreciative and makes one feel welcome for stopping by. Im a clean freak and all I can say the cafe is super clean. The appearance is shiny and clean. Food is always fresh and prepared with perfection. They offer a variety of drinks on the menu as well if a refreshing beverage is preferred. I always look forward to eating and relaxing here while in the Roanoke area"
"I have had almost everything at the cafe. The rice bowls are tasty and fresh, the pizza is perfect to share after one of the weekly rides, and the coffee is excellent! Pro tip, get a grilled cheese and add a side of Avacado mash.👌 and when it’s cold outside order the Tomato basil soup. Gordon Ramsey would approve."
