What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Stopped by yesterday and overall had a good experience. Service was okay - not bad, but not especially warm either. A little odd that the host sat me in a back corner when there were plenty of open tables, but it didn’t ruin the visit. The highlight was definitely the food. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak pita with pasta salad, and it was fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Worth a visit if you’re in the area - especially for the food."
"White bean chili soup is basically just hot cream with green onions. Mid that they use packaged creamers for coffee when they obviously have cream to spare. Bread seemed kinda stale, too."
"I have not been disappointed yet with a meal I have eaten here. Have been here on many occasions and most times including this one, the service from order to being on your table is quick. Aside from the food which taste fresh, they have a selection of hot teas for those like me who like a hot cup of tea at any time and fresh baked desserts. The staff has always been kind and the atmosphere is quiet so it feels cozy. Shown: The tomato soup, the fried green tomatoes, one of the quesadillas, the sandwich and salad, Nachos, and the street tacos with sweet potato fries."
"Wanted to dine here for lunch, but was told there would be a 20-30 minute wait. Had a schedule, so will have to try again later. There were plenty of vacant tables, so staffing may have been the issue. 7/27/24 Have been back a couple of times, and the food has been great, the staff friendly and very attentive, and the atmosphere pleasant. Today's lunch included the MJ -fried green tomato toasted rye sandwich with L, T and goat cheese. It was delicious and tasty. The fried tomato coating was crispy and had a faint spice which enhanced the sandwich so much. The side of Greek pasta salad was coated in a tasty vinaigrette, with tomato, feta, and lots of other goodies. My dining mates also expressed how good their food was one with a sandwich wrap with a "tad too much hummus" and another had the chicken salad sandwich with cranberries. They also noted the timely service. The only drawback was that as the restaurant filled, it was difficult to hear dining mates. Will definitely return. Recommend going at 11:30am or 1pm to avoid the crowd."
"Stopped in for Sunday brunch. Luckily for us it wasn't crowded. Brunch was very excellent. I had the Veggie Benedict (perfectly poached eggs). They do also have the traditional Benedict but i would challenge you to try the veggie with the sautéed spinach & tomato. My husband had the banana pancakes ,& loved them. Coffee was also good with slight undertones of dark roast. Our server was kind & efficient. Not sure why this place wasn't bustling."
"The very best people and food here at The Blue Lady! Our favorite sandwich is their chicken salad and for dessert, their brownies, of course! Highly recommend!"
