from Google & Yelp"Best coffee place I've ever been to in 38 years. I was racking my brain trying to think of a contender and I couldn't. The food and beverages are perfection. I ordered a spicy mocha and a bacon egg and cheese with avocado on GLUTEN FREE bread - yes they have it! I don't typically go out for breakfast because usually what I make at home is way better, but this simple breakfast sandwich was on point - tons of meat. My husband got the house chai latte and it was heavenly. I had a few sips to put the fire out from my spicy mocha, heehee. He also got a breakfast burrito featuring sweet potato hash and purple cabbage. Lovely selection with VG/V options and a very friendly, patient, accommodating cashier. Nice ambiance too - cozy & bohemian."
"I absolutely love this place. It is so adorable! I tried the campfire latte and it was amazing. We did not try any of the food or pastries but it looks very good. The vibes are top tier. They also have this cute little “shopping corner” thing. It’s just a collection of random gift or souvenir type items, but it’s so cute. It’s fun to take a look around while waiting for your coffee."
"My second time here ( the first time was at the old location ). Obsessed with their lavender one. I asked them to add less sweetness to my coffee. Very fresh roasted bean, which you can tell. Got preheated croissant with bacon and ham, which was good. Plenty of indoor seating. They have a small gift shop as well."
"I don't drink coffee and don't live in Waynesboro, but a monthly (or more) trip to Happ Coffee is a must for me! My partner and I love the vibe and the friendly staff. I'm a big fan of the chai latte - my absolute favorite! Highly recommend!"
"Stopped by Happ Coffee Roasters at 1010 E Main St in Waynesboro and left impressed by both the coffee and the environment. It’s housed in a repurposed commercial building, and they’ve done a great job transforming the space without over-renovating. You can still feel the bones of the original structure—big windows, high ceilings, open layout—but it’s been cleaned up and turned into a relaxed, minimalist café. It’s a good fit for Waynesboro’s downtown edge—unpolished in the right way. Coffee is clearly the focus here, and they deliver. They roast in-house, and the quality shows up in every cup. Whether you’re getting a pour-over, espresso drink, or one of their seasonal options (the dirty chai and butter cookie latte stood out), you’re going to get something that’s been made with care. Nothing overdone or overly sweet—just well-balanced, thoughtfully made drinks. Food options are limited, and that’s probably by design. A few pastries, some breakfast sandwiches, and a light lunch menu that wraps up around 2 p.m. This isn’t the place for a full meal, but if you're after a good coffee and a quiet place to park for a bit, this hits the mark. The vibe is relaxed. Baristas are friendly and know their beans, but don’t oversell anything. It’s the kind of place where you can ask questions or just order and disappear into your seat. There's no pressure to rush out, and the space supports that—plenty of natural light, good tables, and just enough background music to make it comfortable. ✅ Final Take Happ Coffee Roasters brings together quality coffee, intentional service, and a well-adapted space. It doesn’t try to be everything, and that’s what makes it work. Limited food, yes—but that’s not what they’re about. If you’re in or near Waynesboro and want something real, this is a great spot to slow down and enjoy something well-made."
