"Burrito was surprised to find that this café is inside a museum. This is really not clear to me from what I saw online, but maybe I missed something. I feel that it should be marked more clearly if a business is inside another business or attraction. I drove out of my way to try this coffee shop only to be disappointed that it was not a standalone café. Sad Burrito."

"1781 Cafe has some of the best tasting coffee I've had in Yorktown! The atmosphere is very relaxed and easy to get some work done at. It has great wifi and service. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had the Honey Lavender Latte and then a regular cup of Mangus Brew both were absolutely delicious and affordable! I will definitely be back."

"Me and my boyfriend went here to get coffee and it was horrible. He ordered a matcha with oat milk and I ordered a smores latte, he got his first which she gave him a mocha with oat milk instead of matcha, then he finally got the matcha with no oat milk and the sugar was all clumped at the bottom, not even what he asked for and he hated it. I got the smores latte which tasted like plain coffee and nothing else and the whip cream was sad. The lady working there had kind of an attitude too, I dont normally care to leave reviews but we are never going there again, everything about the experience was horrible."

"I was invited to go to a Christmas event. My friend and I made a gingerbread house. I had so much fun. The location of Aromas is perfect inside the museum. A nice place to chill with friends or just sip coffee and relax. Everyone was very friendly and the prices great. I had three lattes and a muffin. I had paid less than the amount of money that I would've spent at Starbucks. My winter latte was very 😋 delicious. The decor was nice and relaxing. They had someone playing the harp. I was very impressed. I'm definitely going again."
