What People Are Saying
from Google"1st- For local & state hypers of VT, STOP being FLAKY towards biz that really deserves a fighting chance to exist & try to support such unique businesses unlike the bogus downtown establishments that’s not detrimental to the local community’s benefit. 2nd- GO GET THE LAMB GYRO, it’s really TASTY! Close to the NYC Halal street foods, flavor-wise. Plus the prices are really decent for the portions. The Afghan guy/cook is a genuinely kind man (his Wife included!) who prepares your to go orders unless you prefer to eat at the tiny table. Oh, the lamb with rice is also delish & make sure to ask for the fiery hot sauce to be put into the tiny container…it’ll SCORCH your tongue unless you don’t mind the heavy drizzles on your foods! 3rd- Changezi is hidden in the old Gulf gas station. It’s to the right side of the shop."
"It’s a lovely hole in the wall with great prices for some flavorful food. I was in the area for a party and stopped here on my way back to Massachusetts and I don’t regret it. Fresh food, temperature hot, though they do have spicy sauce that is VERY hot."
"A Hidden Gem, This Is – Brattleboro’s Flavorful Force Awakened Within a humble gas station, greatness stirs. This unassuming outpost hides a culinary power strong in the ways of flavor. Sampled the chicken gyro and chicken over rice, I did—each bite, bursting with balance and spice. Medium heat it was, bold yet harmonious, like a well-tuned lightsaber. Portions? Generous, like a Wookiee’s hospitality. Service? Swift as a podracer. Value? Strong enough to make even a Jedi on a budget smile. Add to favorites, I must. Miss this spot, you should not!"
"The lamb over rice was one of the best I've ever had, even compared to the NYC ones. Portion was large too. Really worth it."
"We had the chicken gyro and lamb over rice. Honestly as good as the top halal places in New York"
