What People Are Saying
from Google"Honey Road is a standout on Church Street. Luke and Sarah were incredibly hospitable—we felt genuinely warm and welcomed from the moment we sat down. We were visiting family for the Christmas holiday from NYC, and this was the perfect spot for a cozy, memorable dinner. The Mediterranean food was excellent, and as someone with allergies, I really appreciated how accommodating and thoughtful the staff was. Reservations are strongly encouraged (for good reason), but we were happily seated at the bar, which had a great vibe. We ordered the olives, dolma, smashed potatoes, and harissa chicken wings—every dish was flavorful and well-executed. For two people, ordering 2–4 mezze items is the sweet spot. Honestly, I’d go back just for Luke and Sarah, but paired with the amazing food, the whole experience was delightful. Chic, warm atmosphere, spotless bathrooms, and consistently great energy throughout the space. Highly recommend."
"Gluten free haven- Fellow gluten free travelers, this is a place that serves "small plates" meant for sharing. I mentioned needing a gluten free menu and they brought back the menu with anything that had gluten crossed off. The seared Haloumi could have cross contamination (marked with a cross). There is a handy glossary off to the side that tells you what the Greek food is, very helpful for me as I didn't know what ANYTHING was! I took a picture of what we ordered. I got the Halibut for myself (my husband didn't want the pork chorizo in it) and it was a perfect size for one person, was kind of like a stew with potatoes and a 4 oz Halibut. Very good. My husband got the Grape leaf Dolma, Lamb (the green rolls in the picture.), Muhammara and Baba Ganoush dips that use veggies to dip (local Crudite, sold separately). Both were very tasty. We split the tahini sundae which was delicious."
"Fantastic food. Surprised that every dish was superb. I’m pretty picky and I have literally no complaints. Drinks were also quite good. Make sure you have a reservation or you won’t go in. Recommended!"
"We had visited Honey Road once before and thought the food was decent, so we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We ordered the pide and the eggplant katayef, and both dishes left a lot to be desired. The pide, which came with minced lamb sausage and cheese that resembled a béchamel sauce, was overwhelmingly salty—so much so that my husband and I couldn’t even finish it. We also ordered two mocktails, but both lacked flavor. One of them tasted like basic fruit punch rather than a thoughtfully crafted drink. The only thing we truly enjoyed was the sesame ice cream, which was unique and delicious. Sadly, given the overall experience this time, we’re not sure we’d return."
"Our experience was a 5/5 here. It most definitely is a pricey place, but wow the food is incredibly unique and so fresh and delicious. We tried their eggplant burrata, kale salad (great big portion), chicken wings, and hot pepper labneh. We split between my husband and I and we were perfectly satisfied. The wine selection looked great, but I’m pregnant so would love to return and experience it all with a high quality wine. Would definitely return when back in Burlington. Service is nice, ambiance is nice. Highly recommend!"
