"popped into this deli on a whim, hoping for a good sandwich. The sandwich was delicious however, the employees were intolerable. I was in a car accident recently and suffered a knee injury. I asked if there was anywhere I could sit down and the woman said I could not sit anywhere, forcing me to sit on the ground. After an employee offered me a seat on the milk crate, an older woman who I supposed to be the owner came up to me, took it away and said that “they don’t do handouts, and that the next thing I’m gonna need is a bathroom, and after that, what won’t I need”. I’m extremely disgusted and would not recommend"

"Visiting from out of state, and a family member who used to Burlington recommended this place. Ordered the "main Street cheesesteak" and it was delicious. The steak tasted good, had a fair amount of cheese, and they hooked it up with the peppers. Didn't taste much of the onions. She gave me some hot sauce packets, and two per side added a little spice I was looking for. Even the roll tasted good, although I thought they would toast it. Not sure if that's an option. Woman working the counter was extremely nice and tried to direct me to a bathroom. The wait area can become a little cramped during the wait, and it took at least 15 minutes. She's a big reason I'm giving five stars, she was great. For the price ($16), I was hoping to be stuffed, but it was still worth it for the taste and the good service. Would go back. My brother says the chicken salads are great."

"The Shiner is absolutely best breakfast sandwich....trust me...roll is amazing...with just about any combo imaginable inside....hash brown makes total sense on this samich. DO NOT pass this place up."
