"An Unforgettable Evening of Whiskey and Warmth What an incredible find! The Burlington Whiskey Room transported my partner and me straight to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere of a classic Irish pub. The absence of TVs was a blessing, encouraging genuine conversation and allowing us to fully savor the experience. The bar staff were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Their expertise guided us through a fantastic whiskey journey. We started with a flight that spanned the globe (USA, Ireland, Scotland, and even local Vermont offerings) before moving on to their stunning cocktails. I highly recommend the Catcher in the Rye, a masterful blend of Bulleit Rye, hazelnut liqueur, and chai bitters, and the Portrait of Mortimer and Mauve, which was like a sophisticated, liquid dessert with its rich Whistlepig Rye and maple notes. The food was on par with the drinks. The Goat Cheese Flatbread was a revelation—clean, refreshing, and bursting with flavor from the prosciutto, whiskey onions, and spiked blueberries. We ended our night with the Vermont Maple Cheesecake, which was easily one of the best I've ever had. If you love excellent craft cocktails, delicious food, and good conversation, this place is an absolute must-visit. We cannot wait to return."

"Nice cozy spot in Burlington. We always attend Grand Point North so we stop in to the local establishments where we are there. They have my favorite Irish whiskey called Connemara which many places don't have.. It can get very crowded but is a nice place to grab drink. Just be careful outside, Burlington is not what it once was."

"The moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome & a smile. Mike served us the entire time, he was attentive, friendly and very accommodating. What a wonderful personality he had and gave us some interesting history about the place as well. We can’t wait to go back. They had nice cocktails & whiskeys, food was proper. I recommend trying this place out, it has a laidback vibe to it. They have a fireplace to the left when you come in."

"The exterior of The Whiskey Room is impressive. I think it was a bank in a past life. But I was expecting that feeling to carry on into the inside and it wasn't. Though it's nice inside, I found it too dark and sombre for my taste. I came in principally to get a Scotch and they have a decent selection of bottles on offer. They also offer food but since I'd already eaten I didn't look at what they had. I sat at a very pleasant wood bar that was small and cozy. The bartender was friendly and efficient. There weren't many people there when I was there at around 7pm. midweek but I imagine it fills up later in the evening. All in all it's an okay place for a dram of Whiskey."
