What People Are Saying
from Google"found Maple Sugar & Vermont Spice online while visiting Vermont for New Year’s, and the originality of the place immediately drew me in. After reading the reviews, I knew I had to check it out—and I was not disappointed. The vibes here are absolutely amazing. I love the rustic, authentic charm, and the cozy atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home. They have a cute gift shop downstairs selling maple syrup, maple ice cream, and other Vermont goodies—definitely worth browsing. Keep in mind that your whole party needs to be present to be seated, which is important if you’re visiting with a group. We were seated in a small, cozy room out back, which was perfect for our group of seven. The space is small but laid-back, giving off a warm, welcoming breakfast vibe. I ordered a plate with a little bit of everything, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, especially topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The eggs were cooked perfectly, light and fluffy with just the right amount of cheese. Everyone in our group ordered different dishes, and everything looked amazing. One standout was the corn chowder, which was a huge hit at our table—it looked and tasted incredible. I honestly wish I had taken pictures because everything was so well presented. A huge plus is that they serve breakfast until 2 PM, which is perfect for a relaxed morning or late brunch. Overall, this is a cozy, laid-back spot with amazing food and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area and looking for a delicious breakfast experience. Important note they have fresh Vermont maple syrup at the tables, which is absolutely delicious!!!"
"Great little breakfast spot with small store, the pancakes were great and the syrup was even better. Had a pumpkin and a blueberry pancake so good, also had the corn beef hash with eggs everything was cooked wonderfully. My wife had the breakfast sandwich and a sugar and spice pancake she enjoyed both as well, the coffee was so good we had to take one for the road."
"Cute place, worth the stop. My beautiful bride had the pigs in a blanket and I had the Canadian bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with potatoes. They were both wonderful! We will be back. Best breakfast around. We loved it. Side bar - don’t leave your wife alone here. She says everything is, “so cute”. Really cute items"
"Love this place for breakfast. Held off on free breakfast in Glens Falls hotel then drove an hour to dine here. 2nd time, first visit was 10-15 years ago. Both times, excellent grub and nice service. Vermont specialties at store in restaurant, gotta get that maple cream, it’s my drug!"
"This restaurant/ store is a hidden gem . I am so happy I was able to find this spot the day before I left to attend for my graduation. This small business was absolutely amazing. The owner came over to our table and asked how we were doing and welcomed us. I loved that. The waitress that we had was very nice and was very honest in what we should try on the menu. The waitress even said that everything on the menu was all real ingredients which I absolutely loved to hear about. My family and I pretty much got the same thing which was the sampler, it came with farm eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes or you can sub it out for either French toast or waffle. We also got a side of home fries . The coffee was also very good too. Honestly everything was very good and I have no complaints. They also make there own maple syrup and sell it in their store which we decided to purchase along with some amazing T- Shirts and hoodies which was all on sale for 50% off. I highly recommend checking out this spot. You Will absolutely love it."
