What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Away for a weekend in Vermont and we came across this Cafe Oma in a bike shop. Unique, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere. We placed our order with the friendly staff and enjoyed our coffee while our sandwiches were carefully crafted. I didn't know that a breakfast sandwich could taste sooo good. Real food cooked to order. The eggs, Vermont cheese and locally baked bread, it just tasted outstanding! We didn't want to leave. Definitely will be back and tell our friends about this place if they are going to Vermont."
"We waited about 45 minutes for below-average coffee. The place is run by two teenagers who seem very disorganized, with no real operational system in place. While waiting, we noticed them hand-washing used dishes instead of using a commercial dishwasher, which raises hygiene concerns. The older woman preparing food wasn’t wearing gloves and was touching everything directly. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness and service were disappointing, and we won’t be returning."
"Vibrant and cozy cafe. The food is so delicious and always has such fresh ingredients. This is truly a hub of the community and I’m glad I’ve build into my workweek a time to stop in for lunch and coffee."
"We went into the Cafe today and it was slammin' busy! Lots of "leaf peepers" and tourists coming to visit the small town charm. The line was almost out the door, but the three working the (very small) behind the counter space had so much composure during the crazy rush. We saw people being so demanding and rude to the workers because their food was taking too long, but with such a small kitchen space, it only made sense. Our food was delicious, and you could tell it was made with top-quality ingredients. We will absolutely be back."
"Worst coffee I’ve ever had. After waiting nearly an hour in line, the coffee was terrible. They don’t seem equipped to run a coffee shop—food took over 20 minutes just for a sandwich, and it wasn’t good either. The girl working today (Sunday) was rude. I don’t understand how this place has high ratings. Avoid this place, unless you want to spend 45 min in a line. Very disappointed!"
"Since the dawn of time itself, coffee and bikes have been cosmically linked together as a vector for good vibes. Cafe Oma is an excellent example of this..."
