"Stepping into the Artisans Hand is like visiting a museum with the finest crafts, jewelry, pottery, etc available and in my many visits to other similar stores this is easily one of the best in New England! It is hard to leave this store without indulging in a piece of pottery, some jewelry, a beautiful hand painted scarf, a notebook with a painted design (such that I subsequently ordered several more for gifts for a friend and myself), cards and gifts for many loved ones. Artisans Hand was spared by the recent flood by probably a few inches, so everything there remains intact and unaffected. I hope others will visit Montpelier, particularly after what it has been through and a it's a good idea to make Artisans Hand your first stop!
