"Had to try out the newest Mexican spot in Montpelier. Very relaxing vibe inside. Stopped in for an early dinner so it wasn't too busy yet. But the service was quick! Got chips and queso to start along with some margaritas. So good. The queso has a nice little kick to it. All the food was so good! Ordered tacos for our meal. Can't wait to try more of the menu!"

"Food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Pork Belly Tacos! I had 3 Tacos, the Fish, Pork Belly and chicken. All 3 were excellent and very flavorful. You can tell that everything is made from scratch. The waitstaff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I plan to have lunch here again real soon!"

"I was so pleased to hear that a new restaurant was moving into this spot on State Street in downtown Montpelier. Chico’s keeps the menu simple with tacos being the main feature. We ordered barbacoa, carnitas, pork belly, and fish. They were all really good, and the barbacoa and carnitas were outstanding. All the salsas we had were flavorful and hotter than most salsas you’ll find in other Vermont establishments. The classic margarita was tasty, though a little on the sweet side, and served in Mexican glassware. We finished off with the flan which was the perfect consistency. We’ll definitely be back to Chico’s in the future!"

"Amazing food. ✔️ Veteran owned and operated. ✔️ Laid back atmosphere. ✔️ Talked with the owner, Drew, lots of locally sourced beers and produce. Fresh ingredients, good food, fresh tortillas, the list goes on. The burrito, which i believe was $15, I had to get the second half to go it was so big. Lots of parking, biker friendly, looks like a nice little patio as well. 100% worth the stop, and we plan to be back soon."
