"This store is a gem. Nicely curated foods, beverages, snacks, and Vermont knickknacks. BUT, the deli is the heart and soul of the Newfane Store! Quality ingredients made by friendly staff and an interesting and creative sandwich menu. Best of all, the owner David (who, by the way is the lead singer of the local band, The Davids!)."

"I ordered a tripple espresso, small, maple latte, it was $8 even. Expensive! but I felt it must be worth it..... then I watched her place a cup of milk into the microwave, poor espresso shots into it, add syrup and hand it to me:(? No foam, no froth, zapped in micro of all nutritional vitamins & nutrients. Not what I expected for an $8 latte. Customer Service is excellent but severely overpriced for locals to enjoy and essentially a pricey cup of Joe with flat milk."

"The environment David and his staff have created in this old school small town general store is amazing. Featuring local handmade products alongside necessities and snacks, classic candy, and an incredible hot and cold deli. It’s one of my favorite weekly spots for lunch to grab and take to my office, and every face that works there is a smiling one. "Food so good we ate breakfast & lunch there…if we had room in our bellies we would’ve had supper from there as well. Was able to get good nearby hiking suggestions from an employee & a patron as we ate our food at the cozy table seating they have set up. Music was also on point for what its worth! "I have gone to this store on countless occasions, and everything is always wonderful. The staff is kind, the owner is always around being welcoming to everyone, and the food... well, the food is just spectacular. They have different specials every day, and they're always tasty. I have even held a catered event in the store, where we had pork belly, satay, biscuits, fruit, and just tons of things. It was wonderful. I can not recommend The Newfane store more highly. Seriously, if you're reading this, and you have never been... run, don't walk, because it will prove to be a highlight of your day, week, month, and maybe even your year. Best country store in Vermont, hands down."
