"The donuts were fantastic, they're dense, soft, fluffy, and taste great. The strawberry frosted and raspberry cream were my favorite of the bunch I tried. The cinnamon roll was also great, had this unique caramelized/crunchy filling along with the gooey, soft, and fluffy texture. The apple fritter was once of the best I've had, the filling was great. The staff were super friendly and the prices were fantastic."

Even during a short visit, it was clear how beloved this place is — customers came in steadily the whole time, giving it a warm, lived-in energy that only comes from being a true local favorite. The Palmier here was outstanding — flaky, buttery, perfectly caramelized. Honestly, I'd make the trip from New York to Vermont just for that. The donuts were just as charming: classic in both size and selection, with a nostalgic feel that’s hard to find these days. It’s the kind of bakery that earns loyalty the honest way — with good baking and no shortcuts."

I had the Sundried tomato basil and cheddar breakfast muffin and a hot coffee for breakfast but couldn't leave without a half dozen plain cider donuts, blueberry turnover and a couple gigantic elephant ears. Everything was tasty and fresh. Will definatly be stopping every time I can get to Rutland in the morning (they are only open mornings)."
