What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Really awesome restaurant! The atmosphere inside is like a combination of the Hobbit and a English tavern. It’s decorated and themed to perfection. It will keep you looking around spotting all the intricate details the whole time you eat. It’s super well maintained, bathrooms are immaculate. All of the above is just reviewing the walk to your table. The food is great with a very unique menu. Perfect lunch spot."
"Got into town late and most of the places close at 9pm. Then I was directed here. Very nice atmosphere. Very calm. Nice BGM. Very friendly staff. Beef chili and their homemade bread are amazing. I'm sure other things on the menu are equally delicious. I would love to go back there sometime."
"We enjoy lunch here on a regular basis. The food, staff and atmosphere are all outstanding. The prices are reasonable. Parking can be tricky depending on what else is going on downtown. They have a small gift store off the side where they sell their products."
"I'm just going to comment on the other negative reviews I'm seeing about this place. If you're looking at this establishment's history and it upsets you, don't go. It's not up to you to then post a review on their site and say why you don't like them. People can figure it out on their own. In this day and age where hatred is seemingly acceptable, there isn't any need to further that but posting reviews against a business you feel isn't right. They have their views, you have yours. Move on."
"People have a right to know if they’re giving money to a cult that abuses children. The friendliness they may project is literally a recruitment tactic. Per the facts “Cults recruit new members anywhere you might expect to meet new people: social media, discussion groups, community clubs, events, and the like. These are typically nonthreatening, public situations that would not cause anyone to be suspicious. Cult recruiters get to know as much as they can about people and identify individuals who may be receptive to meeting a group of the recruiter’s friends at dinner or another social event. Though the chosen targets are generally unaware, these seemingly innocent gestures are the first steps to being drawn into a cult. …Once the potential recruit is in the presence of cult members, typically still oblivious to the group’s agenda, they are showered with love and validation. This tactic, referred to as “love bombing,” makes the recruit believe they’ve found what they’re looking for and more likely to return for group activities in the future. This is critical in the early stages of cult indoctrination since the recruit is not yet under their influence and needs to feel secure. “ Now here’s a headline to google; “Vermont Conversation: Surviving and escaping the Twelve Tribes cult”"
