What People Are Saying
from Google"Great little market. They carry a lot of cool snacks and items you don't really see in conventional stores. This shop has some real personality and we got some delicious fresh bread. It often carries hard to find products and food from local businesses and they have fantastic baked goods. It is located right along the Winooski Circle so I suggest parking a few blocks away in a free spot and enjoying the walk. It's stores like this that make me proud to be a Vermonter."
"Decent little market. Items are priced a touch too high though. I only tried the croissants which were quite large and tasted delicious. However, the people working there did see me and my friend and ignored us for five minutes while we waited awkwardly. Maybe it was us that didn't know how to get their attention or they were busy but that was my experience."
"The food and drinks were fantastic, however the wait between the time we were seated to the time we were served was over an hour. I understand the kitchen staff may have been busy, but maybe it's time to hire more folks? 5 stars for quality, and attentiveness, but 1 star lost for food prep time."
"First trip back home to Burlington with my new girlfriend. There's opportunity to have one meal (lunch). Where do we go? Misery Loves Company. It did not dissappoint! The menu is creative, well executed and supported bby excellent cocktails and desserts. One of Vermont's finest restaurants!"
"This place is a gem!! So many great local items, cute gifts and flowers too. The staff was very helpful in finding a perfect wine to take for later. It's easy to get lost in here (not by space, it's small and cozy) as area has so much to see."
