What People Are Saying
from Google"Fried rice isn't fried rice, it was clumpy and sticky, no eggs in it or spring onions. The spring rolls just taste of grease. Broccoli and steak, steak was not tender, I ate three small pieces and it took me 30 minutes to chew the 3 pieces, the sauce was watery. Pork dumplings were ok, but basically what you buy at the store. Expensive for what you actually get. Reply addressed: Then you should not advertise it as fried rice and it was flavorless. We have been to many restaurants in different countries, my husband is English and Fried rice is one of his favorites, so he has had fried rice in many different establishments, egg rolls are another of his favorites and again he has had those in many different establishments and they are usually fried, at least from we have had them. Your dumplings which I did not address fully in my original review, were soggy. Hopefully this bring an awareness to the quality of the food you're serving and charging for. Disabled parking is confusing, is there none?"
"Went here for the first time the other day. Had the crab rangoon summer rolls and hand made pork dumplings, so tasty. I had the beef and broccoli at the 3 spice level... yeah it was hot lol but very tasty, only issue was the beef was a little over cooked and chewy. Misses had the ginger chicken, she thoroughly enjoyed it, her only complaint was the chicken was over cooked as well. All in all a good place to eat and plan on going back."
"This restaurant is the perfect quaint spot for intimate family time and dining. When visiting Woodstock, VT Angkor Wat should be the first lunch or dinner dining. Once you've tasted the Asian cuisine at Angkor Wat, the standard is set. Chef Chy creates the most flavorful dishes. I ordered double spicy Pad Thai. Chef prepared the dish with the perfect kick while maintaining the FULL flavor. Monica and Nick offered the perfect table-side service meeting every request with care and professionalism. I highly recommend Angkor Wat when visiting Woodstock, VT."
"I so wanted to love this place. Being from the area and having lived in Cambodia for years, I had been so excited to try this restaurant but I left feeling a bit sad. We only tried three dishes but I couldn’t see much Khmer influence in the dishes at all. I had the Khmer red curry soup, which is always a knock-out dish when done the classic way. This is a fusion restaurant but the curry was listed under the traditional dishes section so I was expecting a rich coconut curry with a kroeung paste. Instead it came with soba-like noodles and was more of a clear soup. The yellow curry stir fry that my sister got tasted like a Japanese curry and my brother’s sweet and sour chicken was an average sweet sauce. For the price, it was disappointing. Authentic Cambodian food is so so good and I wish this place would lean into that more, because I think people would love it!"
"This place has wonderful food and the most authentic Thai you're going to find within 100 miles but the people making it are the reason you should come here. Chef Chy and Monica are the sweetest people on earth and that goes for all the people on their team as well. I was in town making a film and they went out of their way to help cater the production of 25 people while sticking to their normal operating hours and menu. They make their food with love, you can see it in the third photo;)"
