The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is more on the simple, casual side and could use a bit of updating, but it didn’t take away from the quality of the meal. Overall, a solid spot for great food and excellent service. I’d definitely return."

"Pizza Chef in Woodstock completely exceeded my expectations. The pizza was super flavorful, with a perfectly balanced crust—crispy, yet soft in all the right places. The Greek salad was out of this world, with fresh ingredients and just the right portion size. To top it off, their beer selection was surprisingly good. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxed, and has a super towny, local feel—but in the best way possible. Very friendly staff and a welcoming vibe. "We entered this odd-feeling restaurant with some hesitation. Unfortunately, due to the day of the week, our options for food in the area were limited. The atmosphere was not pleasant. It was dim in places and harshly lit in others with a mix of incandescent and fluorescent lighting. It was just plain weird. The spaghetti and ravioli lacked flavor and the sauce was watery. The salads were OK. We ordered a side of onion rings which were pretty good."

"Drove up to see the eclipse and was ravenous after hours of driving. We ordered a personal cheese and a personal pulled pork pizza. They were so good we nearly burned ourselves because we couldn't stop eating. Especially the cheese pizza. Hands down some of the best pizza I've ever had. And they were so friendly and pleasant to talk to! The decor was unique and the place was very cozy. We sat at a window booth and someone was playing the piano; it added so much to the vibe."

"My wife and I shared a large pizza, her favorite toppings on half, mine on the other half. Alex, the owner of 35 years,was friendly and accomodating during a busy evening rush. The fresh and plentiful toppings, in just the right proportion to the tasty crust and sauce, created an awesome pie experiece that we both enjoyed. The guality and value for the price was consistent with what we've seen from Texas to Maine. Love supporting the small family businesses doing it right for decades. Can't wait to try one of the subs I saw going out on another order next time we're in the area."
