"Working with them for our wedding cake was a delight. We had originally wanted a full-sized wedding cake, but when we tasted their chocolate cake we knew we wanted to include it (but didn't want a full sized chocolate wedding cake) so we opted for an assortment of cupcakes and a maple-bourbon cutting cake. The cakes turned out so beautiful (Ligia was able to source edible flowers even near the end of the season) and delicious: all of our cupcakes and cake were gone by the next morning! "Ligia and Eduardo are so nice! I first knew of them because they catered the desserts for I+K wedding at Reading Farms Estate. I was blown away by how delicious and cute all their desserts are! I highly recommend using their services for any special event. The entire wedding guests could not stop eating them, there were no desserts left. A few months passed by and I asked if they could make a red velvet birthday cake and they were able to help me and have the cake ready in a day! The cake was super good! The cream cheese was really good and the inside of the cake was moist. I ate the whole thing in 3 days lol. I will definitely keep them in mind for future events. As it is always so nice supporting our local vendors, specially when they have such a great product."

"We popped in here at lunch time on a really busy Sunday and were really glad we did. Honestly first off what a setting to sit and have lunch on a crisp, Autumn day; on the porch of a beautiful house in a picturesque town overlooking the green and the library. We had a panini and a wrap and both were delicious - tasty, well made and packed with filling. A final word for the service - we were in on a weekend and were served by the owner’s adorable young daughter who done a fabulous job. The whole experience was a delight and I would thoroughly recommend trying Splendid Bakes in a town of thoroughly recommended places!"
