"Pleasantly surprised by the food quality at this cafe. I'm not one to even go to cafes for lunch but the woman who owns the shop next door recommended it, and specifically the French fries, so my friend and I decided to try it out. I honestly am not even a French fry person and these were absolutely PERFECT. The perfect amount of crispiness and softness and salt. Like, the kind of fries I wish everyone had, and places rarely do, which is why I don't get them. I would even come back here just for these fries. We also had some fall stew and a grilled cheese with tomato soup that was fabulous, but the fries stole the show😂🙌🏼 We added on to ours and got the truffle fries, which were perfectly seasoned (cause we all know you can have too much truffle). You can get plain as well if truffle isn't your thing. Go eat here for the fries and then enjoy some other incredible food too 💚"

"Didn't try any food, but we had a great time getting cocktails at Cafe Hitchcock on Bainbridge before our ferry back to Seattle. Next time, we plan to try some of the food which looked awesome."

"Well, what can I say to start. If you’re looking for a nice cup of coffee, friendly service and good atmosphere, this isn’t the place to go. We ordered a drip coffee, chai latte, and cortado. The drip coffee was cold, when we asked for a new cup, we were given the same cup but they steamed it… and it was still luke warm. When asked to just get a fresh cup brewed, the baristas were very clearly annoyed and reluctantly brewed another batch after saying it would take some time (obviously.). When it was finally done 22 minutes later from time of receipt, they left it double cupped on the bar and didn’t say as to whose order it was. When we went up again to ask, were pointed to the cup. The cortado shots were also poorly pulled and very bitter, not indicative of the roast but the pull. The chai was fine. Also, don’t come here expecting a nice bathroom either. There is one single bathroom for all 3 venues, a long line, and not kept up. I get being busy but come on."

"It was really busy so the service was a little slow but they were very nice. The food exceeded my expectations. Worth the price! I got the tomato soup which I can see might not be everybody’s cup of soup because it was more of a bisque. The house salad was amazing and not just your average boring house salad. They are also very accommodating with food allergies and preferences."
