from Google"Decided to spontaneously try out this coffee shop after a stop at the library. Met with a new friend there and got the kids a hot cocoa and I got a decaf mocha with dark chocolate and coconut milk. It was very tasty! The pastries all looked tempting and it's good to know they have savory crepes and some food options as well. The Cafe is a nice environment and Olga was very patient with our kids. I'm surprised from some of the reviews here because she was a lovely lady with a nice establishment (cozy, clean, and inviting). Plenty of parking and in a nice area. Prices seemed reasonable and you can even buy some mugs, teapots, and decor."
"This has very quickly become my favorite coffee shop in the BG area. Great coffee, great atmosphere, excellent prices. The desserts are fantastic too"
"Rude. I left without making a purchase because the barista/owner was so rude. It looks like I’m not the only one that had this kind of interaction here. A real mood ruining experience."
"I went here for the first time. When I didn't order right away, I got a weird vibe from the barista, like she was ready to kick me out if I didn't order. Otherwise, the service was good, and I received my order within about 5 minutes of placing it. I ordered a ham and egg sandwich/croissant, which was good, but it was not house-made. It was sizzling hot on the outside and cold on the inside. The coffee I ordered was very good. I'd come back for that.😊 The atmosphere was peaceful but a little chilly. I wore my coat the whole time. It's a nice place to visit or study, but if you want to visit about anything you don't want the whole world hearing, you have to basically talk under your breath or else everyone can hear you. It's quite echoey. Overall, I'd rate the experience 3-4 stars."
"Very rude and racist woman up front, probably even the owner? I am a Hispanic-woman. I own a smoothie shop and this is not the way you treat people. Here is my experience: This was my first time here, I wanted to have a relaxing morning, drink coffee and eat a crepe. I entered the shop and the moment this lady upfront saw me she looked at me so disgusted. I was like ok, maybe that’s how she naturally look at everyone. I asked for a cappuccino, she asked if I wanted it sweet or unsweetened. I said sweet, then she asked what sweetener I wanted, then I looked all confused at the menu trying to find my options and she got all rude for no reason! She threw a menu at the counter and said “well you need to have a flavor if you want it sweet” all in a very rude manner. At this point I wanted to leave but I told to my self that this lady with a sad life was not going to ruin my morning. I wanted to order a crepe too but as soon as I chose the coffee flavor she said the total and preceded me to check out. I was like, ok, that’s it then. I sat down and another customer came in (He was an American man) She was totally ridiculous different at the moment she started to take this gentleman’s order. She even smiled and treated him so nicely. I thought to myself well… he is probably someone she knows, and surprise!! he also said it was his first time here. Then this other couple entered the place and same history, she was the nicest person to them. She even went to their table to chat with them. But I, I would get this looks from her like she wanted me to leave. The way I got treated was so unfair. What was it? What did I ever do to you? Was it because I am Hispanic? Was this a racial matter or are you selective with your costumers? I am never going to come back to this place in my life nor ever recommend it to my relatives, no one wants to get treated this way."
