What People Are Saying
from Google"The turkey sandwich was excellent. The bread had the perfect crunch, and the turkey, sun-dried tomatoes, and pesto came together really well. It was honestly so good. We also tried the Vietnamese coffee and a cappuccino. Both had great flavor, though I wish they were served hot, as that would have been the best way to enjoy them."
"The story on the wall reflects the story of so many immigrants and that is why this place was on the list as soon as we looked up places for coffee. They have a bunch of pastries and many other coffees to choose from. Ranging from Vietnamese coffee to Indian filter coffee. The service is slow and finding a table can get difficult because the place is always packed (we came twice). If you grab a table you miss out on your name called out as you cannot hear through the commotion. If you keep lingering you’d hope that you ordered a takeout because finding a table will be its own time spent in having your coffee cold if ordered hot. Anyway, we got the Indian filter coffee, Spanish bombon, and elaichi chai for our beverages and avocado toast for our breakfast. Avocado Toast is absolutely stellar. Served on a toasted sourdough bread with the creamiest avocado and kimchi hot sauce. It was delicious in every bite. I wish I’d ordered two of those in one sitting because it’s probably one of the best ones I’ve had in a while. The kimchi definitely adds the kick that I’ve never experienced on an avocado toast before. Indian filter coffee: I took mine with jaggery. The jaggery did not come until the very last few sips of my coffee. I’m guessing it wasn’t mixed well enough and that is why the coffee felt almost lackluster. I expected a lot more given the Indian exposure. Well, maybe there’d be a third time? Spanish Bombon: Espresso with condensed milk but make it the bitterest you can find. My husband just downed it because he just wanted some caffeine kick. The coffee was ice cold and we had to ask them to heat it. He rated it 0 because he did not enjoy a single sip. Elaichi Chai: Hints of cardamom but chai that was so milky it almost tasted like latte. Odd, isn’t it? Not overtly sweet and quite enjoyable if only the chai was slightly more brewed for it to stand out. Overall, the place has an exciting food menu that we didn’t get to try as much as we’d have liked, but we are optimistic about for the next time. The coffees as exciting as they sound didn’t quite hit the mark for us."
"Really good avocado toast, pasties and coffee! The rose matcha is my favorite but I also love the New Orleans iced coffee. Great place to stop for a lunch break or a hangout spot! Everyone is super nice and atmosphere is wonderful. We also had one of their samosas and wish we got more, they were so good! Oh and can’t forget the amazing butternut squash soup, best butternut squash soup I have ever had!"
"Third Culture Coffee has a great atmosphere, and I love that they offer pastries to enjoy with your coffee. I also got a chocolate kessho, which was absolutely amazing!"
"I ordered grilled cheese and soup set for lunch, ordered at 12:40 and told that it’s going to take 15 mins. I waited for 15 mins, nothing has come out. I’m not the kind of person who likes to speak up so waited another 15 mins. After 30 mins, I went around casher to see if they are making my soup and grilled cheese and finally one employee realized I’m still waiting on those and made it in 5 mins. They offered refund and I didn’t see come through so I asked again before I left to give me a proof of refund. THEN they actually gave me a refund that came through. 40 minutes wait for grilled cheese? No actual refund until you spoke up about it? (They did offer but they didn’t do it actually until I asked) I did love the atmosphere but customer service is awful."
