from Google & Yelp"My Kid (20), and I were so excited as we had reservations at The Hotel Leo for their Christmas Day Chinese Buffet. Without going into detail, it was easily the worst food we have ever had. And with how much it cost, livid doesn't begin to cover it. We left 15-20 mins after being seated. I signed the bill and we walked outside, ready to go home when we see a light, a beacon, in the darkness, or the rain, whatever. One of my favourite coffee shops, Cof& was open on a cold and rainy Christmas day. We jaywalked across the street and ran inside. There were several people already in there, families, friends, a toddler waving at everyone, and a dog in a raincoat to round it all out. I ordered the affogato and a cherry danish, The Kid got a hot chocolate and a chocolate dessert of some kind. Just being in there is a balm for my soul, but after that horrible food, it was more than that. It really was a light in the darkness. Any time I go there, everything is great, from the staff to the food and drinks, but after our very horrible and overpriced early Christmas dinner, it made it all the better. Thanks for keeping the light on (to bastardize Motel 6's slogan), Cof& it was much appreciated"
"Great food, great coffee, great atmosphere! I love the live music events here. They have yummy vegan options and I love the gift shop in the back with beautiful wares, crafts, and jewelry!"
"Absolutely had the best experience. The pastries were delicious, I got the danish sweet cream and spinach puff pastry. And then got green tea. We went with a larger group and absolutely had the best time and service! The owner even took our photo. Will come back again."
"Really wanted to love this place. However what I wanted was a pour over there only allowed to do one for two people. Then when I gave into having it for two people they said they couldn't because they were out of filters! Ended up ordering drinks I didn't really want. Sandwich we ordered was good but expensive. You'll either like this place or not."
"Amazing coffee and atmosphere! We had the “Capuchino Gold” amazing espresso, honey and almond powder, soooo delicious! The ham and cheese croissant hit the spot as well. Highly recommend and will be back! Also the artisan shop in the back of Columbia artists is full of beautiful jewelry and clothing - very cool! UPDATE: went back and ordered the Japanese Siphon - WOW. So delicious and Sebastian truly made the experience walking us through the process."
"My NEW FAVORITE COFFEE SHOP, in Bham!!! Addy, one of the baristas explained the whole concept of their shop and meanings behind the decor! It's so lovely..."
