What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I love biscuits and gravy, and the biscuits and gravy here is legitimately some of THE BEST I have EVER had. The biscuits are fluffy and have a delightful touch of sweetness. The gravy features house made sausage. The pairing is fantastic. I got it with a couple over medium eggs on top (slightly overdone, but forgivable). Ended up paying more than I anticipated, but that probably has more to do with me being cheap, and less to do with the value of the food/service. Cozy atmosphere and delicious coffee round out the experience. Perfect breakfast after a brisk night camping in the nearby national forest!"
"Had a great experience here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which really made a difference."
"We traveled from Kuwait & stayed in Carson for 3 days- we had breakfast here every single day! Every morning we woke up excited knowing we will have a delicious Lumberjack sandwich to start our day with! Truly the best sandwich ever, thank you so much!"
"The place is fun and the staff was helpful but the menu items were overpriced and under portioned in my opinion. The coffee was not good. It tasted weak and the togo cup seemed like it was cheap and contributing to the bad flavor. The chocolate chip cookie was homemade but nothing special at all and not worth 5+ dollars."
"We were on a random drive when we happened upon the Crosscut Espresso & Deli restaurant, and we were hungry. The food was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We tried the Hummus Pesto Wrap and also had the BLTA sandwich without the B (bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado) since we are vegetarians. We also had one of the raspberry turnovers, which was delicious. We will definitely stop here again when we are in this area."
"Best latte I've had in the last six months! Try the Snow Storm; it's super sweet and worth every sip. A hidden gem of a coffee shop in Carson. We'll be back!"
