What People Are Saying
from Google"We shared a November sandwich (Thanksgiving leftovers) and a bowl of soup. Really substantial as seen in my photo. Amazing service considering a line backed up to the door and the drive through backed around the building. Fresh and hot."
"The coffee and ice cream were great!! Lots of syrup options and ice cream options. It did take awhile to get two iced coffees as they were more focused on serving ice cream to more customers. Drive through existed but was pretty slow too."
"It's a cafe. Don't be in any hurry if you're hungry and stopping here. Love the bagels with egg, cheese and bacon and most all drinks we've gotten here are delicious. The wait time whether inside or drive through is killer. They gotta figure a quicker method. Our dog loves their pup cups!"
"Best dirty chai I’ve ever had and the atmosphere was so welcoming and warm. I usually would just grab my drink and leave a coffee shop but it felt so nice in there that I stayed and enjoyed my drink there instead. I got a chance to meet the owner and she is just as amazing if not more."
"Placed an order for a Grilled Cheese sandwich along with drinks. Upon receiving and opening the sandwich i discovered the Grilled Cheese sandwich was totally burnt and overcooked. I immediately called in to the store, the first young lady I spoke to (was polite and pleasant, although she was unable to assist). I explained the situation and she then sought assistance from a different individual (assuming a lead or supervisor). Ashlynn takes over the call, I then explain again that my order contained a completely burnt and overcooked Grilled Cheese sandwich and asked why Auntie Irene's would even send and serve this item to anyone? The offer from Ashlyn was "you can come in to the store or I can refund you," to which I stated if I was able to come to the store i would not have ordered using a delivery service. I was then asked well what do you want me to do? ... imagine my shock and surprise to that comment and her tone. I initially thought the response might have been along the lines of... I'm sorry I apologize about the quality of the item you received... I will simply refund you. Ashlyn again... states "so...." awaiting my response.. I indicate "refund". The next thing I know... the phone hangs!!! The call is ended. No, I'll do that now... give me "X" amount of minutes... okay... or simply thank you good bye. A complete rude hang up to end the call. I immediately look at my phone to confirm the call Infact was ended. I call back and ask to speak to the individual who was just helping me ( this is when I actually found out the name of Ashlyn is who I had the displeasure of speaking with). Ashlyn returns to the phone and inquire as to why she choose to rudely end the call; abruptly and deliberately hang up the phone in my face as a customer to Auntie Irene's. Ashlyn yet in still took no accountability nor did she attempt to apologize for her behavior as the face of the establishment. She doubled down and proceeded to tell me... the store is busy, I offered a refund and you laughed when I offered a refund as to the reason she hung up on a paying customer for an item Auntie Irene's sent out burnt unedible. While the store might have been busy that gives her absolutely no right to become rude and unprofessional with a customer. When I tell her fitst of all I did not laugh.. I stated that; If, I was able to come to the store I would not been ordering from Door Dash. I tell Ashlyn I called back to address my concerns as to the behavior she used towards and displayed to me It was completely unacceptable and unnecessary... that she simply could offered some sort of apology or level of humanity instead of continuing to be rude. The next comment I'm met with from Ashlyn... was "you're not my mother". Again, uncalled for and had absolutely nothing to do with the concern I raised, as a customer for her lack of professionalism and providing customer service. As a long time customer of Auntie Irene's that orders coffee frequently, several times a week I was beyond shocked by this experience. Normally I have had nothing but welcoming service utilizing the drive thru. However, the old saying goes; one bad apple can spoil the bunch. In this case, it is absolutely true. It is an unfortunate situation that I will not be supporting this small business anymore. When an employee such as Ashlyn is the "face/voice" of the establishment providing her type of behavior of rudeness and negativity in/of offering customer service and dealing with the public. No thank you. I will spend my money elsewhere in a business with employees that know how and can deal with customers and the public. I will definetly share this experience with family and friends just as in the past I had shared to try Auntie Irene's, but no longer. **Update as of today, Jan. 4th, 2026 - (l) still have NOT received refund as offered**"
