"I’m really disappointed with my experience today at Gravity Coffee. I placed my order ahead of time through the app and waited in the drive-thru. There are two drive-thru lanes. One lane had two cars (one in front of me and me behind), and the other lane was completely open. Since I was already in line, I stayed where I was instead of backing up and switching lanes. I ended up waiting about 15 minutes and run late to work. even though there was only one car ahead of me and three staff members inside who were not busy. No one came out to ask about my order or even acknowledged that I was waiting. Eventually, I had to back up and go to the other lane myself. When I finally got service, there was no apology at all. Instead, I was told I shouldn’t have been in that lane, which was frustrating because I had already been waiting there for a long time. To make things worse, my latte was terrible. It honestly tasted like watered-down milk with barely any coffee flavor. For a place that used to be my go-to, this was really disappointing. Between the poor customer service, lack of communication, and low-quality drink, today’s experience was not acceptable. I’m very disappointed and expected much better."

"Prices are high. Coffee is good. This is why I been coming here for 2 years, every single day. The girls are human beings! They have good and bad days like everyone else. For the most part every single girl has customer service skills and does know how to make drinks. When there's a new girl, it might take a moment to get her groove, but that's to be expected. People love to leave bad reviews. I personally like the stand and the girls. The company/corporate itself can do better in supplying them with products and materials and set them up for success. They take a lot of the frustration that actually needs to go to the true people in charge! They don't take care of their employees to the degree I feel they should. I know I'm not alone in thinking this. The staff is friendly, they remember orders, ask questions to try and engage with customers (rather than sounding like a robot), they're always beyond busy and I know they're working hard and getting everyone's drinks while trying to be personable with each client. For me Gravity is the coffee joint I CHOOSE and it's because of the staff and the coffee. Corporate needs to do better. Honest review."

"I didn’t want to make this review, but charging extra to NOT put something in is quite ridiculous. You heard of how expensive this place is right? Well what if I told you it’s more expensive if you want a certain coffee minus one ingredient? I wanted a Hyperspace, minus the coconut, same milk, etc. Noticed that they added an extra fee for white coffee. Questioned them about it and got some weird answer about how you have to ring it differently because it’s no longer a Hyperspace, even though you’re charging me the same price for it anyways and adding the extra fee."

"My favorite coffee spot in Des Moines! The baristas—Kiana, Katelynn, and Laura—are always friendly and consistently make an excellent iced Americano. Their warm service and great drinks keep me coming back. Highly recommend this coffee stand!!"
