What People Are Saying

"I ordered a Thai tea, and the cashier asked me which topping I wanted. I asked where I could see the options, so they showed me a screen with the available toppings. I pointed at the crystal boba, which was what I wanted. My partner ordered the same topping as well. However, when we received our drinks, mine had regular boba instead, while my partner got the crystal boba as requested. When I went to ask the staff about the mistake, they gave me an attitude and showed me the receipt, insisting I had ordered regular boba. The way they responded was rude and dismissive. I was very disappointed with both the customer service and the drink itself — the Thai tea didn’t taste good at all. I couldn’t even finish it."

"Tea Cup is our favorite boba place in all of the Seattle area. The smoothies are made with real fruit instead of flavoring or syrups (which makes them the tastiest), and the boba is always fresh and the right balance of firmness and tenderness. Also, the tofu banh mi (which can be made vegan) is delicious and has the best bread. We also love that it's a family business, with super friendly owners. We avoid the chain shops and go out of our way to come here every time!"

"Have loved everything about TeaCup (vibe, service, bubble tea and food) since they first opened years ago. Everything tastes fresh and clean. Sometimes it's a wait for the food, but that's because it's coming out fresh and it's worth it. I'm not in Des Moines more than a few times a year, but when I am I try to make a stop here. On occassion I will make the drive from West Seattle when I have the time."

"My daughter brought me here for my Birthday. The food was delicious and fresh! We got the chicken, bánh mì, sandwiches, shrimp, spring rolls, and the avacado and Macha smoothie. It was fresh ingredients and no powder. It was on point! I would definitely recommend! Chloe was really sweet and welcoming. She gave us a small piece of flan, on the house for my Birthday. Go see Chloe at Tea Cup, she will hook it up!"

"I found this place online, and they have a colorful variety of yumminess! I met Miss Chloe (“Not the Kardashian! I spell it with a C!”), who has the best customer service! She had me try the sea salt cream topping and showed me what a true taro root chunk looks like, and since she is literally across the street from our Inn, I told her I’d be back again tomorrow! I ordered the Ichiban, and she told me they colors are separated for appearance first (photos, etc), and then you shake, shake, shake, then drink. It’s soooo good! 5 star rating in my book! A MUST try if you’re in the area! *They also have a super cute Instagrammable wall for a photo op!!"
