The reason for the three-star review is that this coffee shop was vastly understaffed and the line was huge taking a long time, andbo saw many people leaving. The barista needs help and the toaster oven needs to be larger to cook with the volume of toasted bagels."

"I love coming to The Local. Whether meeting a friend for coffee or alone to do some work. The food and drink selection is good, the atmosphere is cozy and friendly. You can even do some shopping for gifts or yourself in the little country store. Have a hankering for a game of chess? They have that too."

"I really wanted to like this place, but my drink was a big disappointment. I ordered the honey turmeric latte and it came out extremely hot. Even a small sip burned my tongue. There was no real flavor of honey or turmeric at all, just strong coffee and what tasted like burnt milk. The shop itself is nice enough, but the drink quality was way off. I hope this was just an off day, but it was not a good experience for me."
