What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Ruined a wonderful restaurant. One of the worst meals I have ever had. I had the Salmon Benedict and chicken sausage. The salmon comes with 2 eggs and a lemon hollandaise. The salmon tasted spoiled! My stomach is upset from the food. I had 2 bites of it. The salmon tasted spoiled, the fruit was old and mushy, the chicken sausage was terrible and the presentation of the food was laughable. I also ordered a cappuccino that came out with an inch and a half of foam on top of the cup and coffee spilling all down the sides of the cup and on the plate. That was also not very good and cold. Also I called ahead to see if they had gluten free bread. The person on the phone went to check and confirmed that they did have it. When we arrived and ordered we were told they did not actually have any. This restaurant has fallen far from what it was. In the last 20 years our family has gone and it was fantastic. But now it’s awful. If you like getting sick, spoiled food, lukewarm coffee, sticky tables, dirty floors, and getting ripped off for your hard earned money this is the place. Otherwise stay away! They are running a terrible establishment and a health risk. $70 for two people on food that can’t compete with day old McDonalds or elementary school lunch."
"Absolutely phenomenal bakery! Wild Wheat Bakery is hands down one of the best spots in Kent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is friendly and attentive, and everything they bake is on another level. Their bread is always fresh, the pastries are rich and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the coffee pairs perfectly with it all. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put real care into everything they make. This place never disappoints. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, made-from-scratch goodness! Oh definitely try their fresh squeezed orange juice!"
"Cozy little diner tucked away on Grove street. The food was delicious and they had a vegan option. Though I was not a fan of the extremely salty olives as part of the grilled veggies. The omelet was good, but the portions were enormous. All in all it's a comfy spot for your standard brunch hits."
"i got the Dungeness crab & asparagus omelette, • asparagus on the side • lemon infused hollandaise (instead of regular) • sourdough bread (lightly toasted for my future visits)- and yes ill be back when i tell you this meal was DIVINE. as a consumer, this meal met my expectations completely. it was FILLED with crab. the price reflects this but i feel this was the right trade off for the amount of crab i actually got in it. it’s nice to feel like i actually got what i paid for they even added an orange slice which was the perfect palate cleanser (iykyk). in the future i’ll add lightly toasted sourdough instead of regular toasted the taste was amazing, and if you’re smart, you’ll order the OJ- its freshly squeezed and you can taste the difference. i’m from puyallup and would make the drive to kent for the orange juice alone. all the waitresses were so kind & lovely, which was such an added bonus to an already great experience. this will be my new go to spot for brunch with my girls💕"
"You know what place rarely disappoints? THIS PLACE! Food is always amazing, portion sizes are huge- definitely share! service is fast and staff are friendly. great place for breakfast. we ordered the smoked salmon omelet, pancakes, spinach and feta quiche, lemonade, black coffee, and hot chocolate ❤️ If ya haven't been here, hook yourself up and go! you won't be disappointed."
