"Super cozy coffee house with really elegant decor. It is the perfect spot for a small meeting or a few hours of focus time to study or work. The coffee is high quality, tasted like Mercury’s. Many board games and toys for the kids to play. Plus a printer where you can be fully productive. This saved me an hour of going somewhere else to print. The pastries could have more varieties but ok overall."

"Smooth coffee with a touch of vanilla—just how I like it (1 pump vanilla). Stopped by on a Thursday morning around 9am. The owner was super friendly, which added to the good vibes. I walked over from Evergreen Hospital, so I didn’t scope out much parking—seems limited on the street, but maybe there’s underground parking I didn’t notice? Bonus: I was offered a free extra shot of espresso, which was a nice surprise. Maybe I just give off “needs more caffeine” energy!"

"I gave this place a few more visits as I feel like my last review was garbage and I needed to give Blendz a proper run. As far as coffee goes, the coffee is STROOOONNNGG which I'm fine with, sometimes it feels like the espresso burnt but I'm whatever about that. I'm not fussy. I feel like they have one of the best Mochas in the game because of the strong flavor. The only thing that turns me off about this place is it isn't really a coffee spot, it is more of a family retail business that happens to sell coffee. The owners sell a lot of second hand jewelry, the standard business name brand clothing products and a few cute knick knacks. It turns me off because I have had some terrible experiences of being scammed on jewelry prices from places like this, so, it's hard to tell what is legit and what's bought from a Burlington coat factory and repackaged at a higher mark up. The food here is pretty solid; they sell Toasti products which taste really good. The vibes are chill, you can definitely grab coffee and sit down on a laptop here especially cause their wooden bar is facing the busy Totem Lake street. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you are in a pinch. I go here when I'm in between busses or if I need to make a pit stop."

"I have been a regular customer at this café for a long time and have always had positive experiences with the owner and most of the baristas. I frequently buy coffee here, tip well, and genuinely support this business. Unfortunately, my recent interaction with the manager was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I went in to purchase three lattes and gift cards. My clear intention was to pay for the coffee using an existing gift card and purchase new gift cards using my credit card. The barista assisting me was very new and inexperienced and mistakenly put everything into a single transaction, then attempted to load a gift card using another gift card. This was clearly a system and training issue, not customer wrongdoing. The barista initiated a refund for the single transaction, and I paid for the lattes separately. I also wanted to purchase new gift cards because there was an offer going on, but the barista did not know how to load the balance onto the gift cards. I waited patiently for about 20 minutes while the barista tried to figure it out, but since I was getting late, I decided to purchase the additional gift cards later, as I live nearby and regularly visit this café. The transaction was later refunded, but I had a very difficult time getting my gift card balance corrected, which caused unnecessary stress and delay. What made the situation unacceptable was the manager’s attitude. Instead of calmly resolving the issue, she behaved egotistically and accusatory, repeatedly implying that I was trying to “trick the system.” That accusation was completely false and offensive. I want to be very clear: this was NOT an intentional or fraudulent action. I acted in good faith, as a loyal customer, and simply followed along while a new barista processed the payment incorrectly. Being told that “customers are not allowed to make mistakes” while simultaneously excusing a lack of staff training is unreasonable and unfair. I was further taken aback when the manager later stated, in an egotistical and dismissive manner, that if my gift cards had not been found, I would not have received a $40 refund—as though this were a favor rather than a correction of a mistake. Mistakes happen. How they are handled matters. The manager’s approach showed a lack of professionalism, empathy, and customer service. I hope the owner is aware of this behavior, because it does not reflect the otherwise positive experience this café offers. I will likely try to avoid visiting the café when this manager is working. This was an isolated issue with the current manager—my experiences with the owner and other baristas have always been positive, and the coffee here remains among the best in the neighborhood. I truly hope management training improves so loyal customers are not made to feel accused or disrespected for situations they did not cause."

"This place deserves more love than ever. It would be my go to coffee shop for work and weekend coffee stops in Kirkland. The atmosphere is incredible and well decorated, they even have printer available at the shop for folks that need to find a place to work. The service is top notch, I had many recommendations for food options and the staff were very friendly and patient with me. I brought my wife and my daughter here, super nice vibe to have family gatherings here as well"
