"I came here for the second time on Nov 10 around noon. My first visit was great, but unfortunately, this one left a bad impression. When I approached the counter to check out, the woman at the register (as pictured) seemed to completely overlook me and instead prioritized helping another customer who had just arrived at the counter. She switched counters leaving me behind. It was an uncomfortable and unsettling experience to be ignored like that. While another staff member eventually helped me, the previous interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. It’s disappointing because the food, especially the Italian meatballs, is very good. However, the café also seems severely understaffed; the wait for coffee was over 10 minutes. It is unfortunate given how promising my first visit was. My recommendation is to train staff on unconscious bias to avoid situations like this from happening."
