from Google"We have come here from Renton, WA for years but now that we've moved to the southwest, a visit to Mukilteo coffee roasters is even more special. Today we had a great experience with their kind staff in getting my favorite roast, Gitano, though they didn't have any stocked so they actually roasted a fresh batch for me. Like c'mon! Then to top it off they saw how enamored we were with the roasting and gave us and our young kiddos a mini tour and explanation of the roasting process. What a gift!! I know things have changed a bit here over the recent years, but I can tell you that they are so passionate about what they do, and the spirit of Gary is alive and well in this place. Thank you all so much for what you do! My heart is full after my visit this morning 💗"
"Our AirBNB host (Blue Heron in Mukilteo - highly recommend!) provided daily coffee (Happy Hippie blend) from Mukilteo Coffee Roasters, which was wonderful. During a day trip to Whidbey Island, we visited their facility and the clerk was very knowledgeable and suggested several other several varieties for us to try as well."
"My sister mentioned that she wanted to take me here to fuel up on breakfast for our Geocaching adventure on the island. If you don’t know, this place is NOT on the beaten path. You have to know it’s here to visit, even better to have someone who has accompany you. Kinda like the Isla de Muerta ala Pirates of the Caribbean. I digress. Very Steampunk-y interior which I loved. The eclectic silverware and plates were a unique touch as no two were alike. Now then, on to the food. I had the Bob Porter Monster Breakfast Burrito and washed it down with a cortado. I had a bite or two of my sisters Blue Man Benedict. Couldn’t decide which tasted better! If you’re on the south end of Whidbey Island then you need to start your day here. Period."
"If I was ranking the food or atmosphere only it would be 5 stars. Great food unfortunately does not equal great service. Overall I have to rank them at 3 stars. You order at a counter where before any service is provided you pay and are expected to give a tip. I enjoy tipping well for good service, but good service is not waiting in line to order, getting your own drinks, getting your own silverware, cleaning up the table after you eat and the expectation you will scrape your own plates. While the staff was friendly, our only interaction with them was the lady who took our order at the counter and the one who brought our food. Expect to pay medium to high price for the food which is well worth the cost. There were 5 of us in my group and not one complaint on the quality or content of the food."
"We used to love going here before COVID when they hadn't renovated the front area. Now their food seems like smaller portions and less quality plus they serve their food on paper plates. I don't know if management changed but it is just not like what it used to be sadly. We won't be returning."
