"The food was great and the service overall started off okay — the atmosphere was nice and the dishes tasted fresh. We ordered two omelets and the Island Bowl. However, we added avocado and weren’t told the price ahead of time like they usually do, which was surprising. Unfortunately, our server seemed to have an attitude the whole time, and it made us feel uncomfortable and judged. It really changed the experience, even though the food itself was good. I hope management takes note, because we like coming here and would love to see more consistent and welcoming service."

"Great corned beef hash, but the quality varies by the day. Portions are generous and tasty, and the shakes are made with real ice cream. It gets a little loud (like some small-town restaurants do) but everyone was polite and helpful. Definitely added this to my Return List."

"I'm really disappointed. I've heard so many good things, but this was the chicken fried steak: so tiny! Compared to my hand (small despite the pic) it was very small. Tasted like a frozen dinner. I'm guessing it was from frozen. Fries were good. Salad ok. Hamburger ok."
