What People Are Saying
from Google"I’m sad to write this. I usually don’t like to beat down a family owned biz, but this place has traded delicious food for quick junk. We used to come here often for chicken strips and fries with a shake for my son. We hadn’t eaten out in a while and while we’re avoiding “fast food” I thought this place isn’t terrible… they make their food fresh, the strips were always fresh, looked like they were hand dipped in house. Not anymore. Today’s meal looked like generic frozen chicken and fries from a bag you can get at Walmart. Not even foster farms… they’re taking short cuts. I don’t blame them, the cost of food has risen and I feel that too. But I just spent $80 and threw away most of it because it was inedible. Is it too much to ask for a night off from cooking?! I guess that is why I’m really ticked off about this. Taco Bell’s fried chicken looks better than this, is cheaper and right down the road. If this is your new direction, you’ve lost a customer. And you’ll lose more. I would have appreciated a heads up about the change in chicken strips, maybe an update in the menu, these are NOT southern chicken strips… that’s offensive to those from the south. Now I also had the 3 piece cod and sweet potatoes… the cod breading was batter, and I think it is made in-house, but it was not allowed to have the oil dripped off long enough before put into the to go box, pictures provided. Clam chowder… definitely canned. So it was alright… very high in salt and low in clams. It was edible however, I could’ve opened up a can at home… Seems like they’re still great for breakfast foods, I know when we came here before for brunch, we left happy and full… so maybe they just need to close early and be only a breakfast joint."
"Pretty damn good, got the eggs benedict and i have to say its the best ive had in washington state, the hashbrowns were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside i was a big fan, i also got an eggnog latte which was actually pretty good a bit bitter for my taste but thats what the creamer and sugar is for. My partner ordered fish and chips which was mostly good but ultimately bland a litlle bland. many staff aren't native English speakers so minor misunderstandings happen but its never been a real issue and tye staff are friendly. Overall a great experience I'll be back again"
"What a quaint and comfy place. The waitress was super kind and sweet. Very attentive and did a great job. The food was prepared well and was very tasty. I’ll be back to try their all day breakfast!"
"Other than freezing, it was great! Great food and great service. It was hit and miss for a short while. But it is now back to top-notch. I really enjoy having a specialty coffee with my meal. Everything was really hot and fresh today, and our waitress was extremely attentive. The mushroom burger was great! We will definitely return for either breakfast (served all day) or lunch."
"I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but this is the single worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Who serves a rotting salad to someone? Lettuce hearts with moldy leaves, not wilted; moldy. My crab cakes were tough and discolored like they haven’t changed their oil in who knows when. The packet of oyster crackers was so old they were stale. The chowder tasted ok, but was a bit congealed. It was so profoundly bad that I didn’t even want to talk to anyone about it, I just paid and left my barely touched “food”. I haven’t tried the coffee/drinks drive through. My guess is that’s where the vast majority of their business is from and they try and run the restaurant as an additional stream of income, but don’t have the volume to keep their food from spoiling."
