What People Are Saying
from Google"Wonderfully welcoming environment! Immediately you feel at ease and ready to enjoy your time at Holiday Cafe. The iced seasonal coffee drinks were delicious. The only minor drawbacks were that the cookie we ordered was very pricey for its size ($6.50) - sadly, not worth the steep price. The other drawback was the kids play area, which looks fantastic, but requires reservations and is pay-to-play (something we missed looking online). Needless to say, our kids were very sad not to be able to play. Even given these drawbacks, we plan to go back and make arrangements ahead of time so we can make the most of our visit!"
"We’ve been here a hand full of times now and each time this place does not disappoint. From the friendly staff, the positive environment, good coffee, and yummy pastries this place is a must for on a weekend morning. They have a good size menu of both small bites and drinks including seasonal drinks. They have an indoor ground for kids which is pretty cool for those with little ones. You can enjoy your morning coffee and raspberry white chocolate scone with out your little one bugging you. Although this place is great for kids it isn’t overly loud in there which is nice. You can still have a normal conversation without having to yell over kids screaming. Ditch Starbucks and come spend your morning at Holiday Cafe. Lots of seating including tables and couches, Worship music playing in the background, and just an overall welcoming and comfy vibe. Check it out if you’re down town Puyallup for the farmers market or fair."
"I work remotely and visit coffee shops almost every day. I've been three times and every time I really want to like Holiday Cafe, but I've struggled to walk away wanting to go back. The first time I went I got a coffee and a scone, and they forgot about my scone. If they were busy, that's understandable, but I was the only one in the cafe, besides the three workers. There isn't a menu posted with their seasonal drinks, and the menus on the counter you have to pull out and flip through, which I did, while the girl waiting to take my order didn't say anything and just stood there. It almost feels like you are encroaching into the worker's space pulling the menus out. I ended up stepping out of line and using the iPad on the counter to make my order, which then feels weird to leave a tip because I didn't get any service. I ordered the London Fog and it was the worst London Fog I've ever had. Tasted like water with a splash of milk. The picture on the menu had lavender sprinkled on top, and that was missing when I got it. Probably a really good place if you have kids and want them to play, but it's not the setting for a couple hours of computer work."
"Always greeted with a smile when I walk up to the counter to order! Holiday Cafe has an amazing assortment of treats and seasonal themed drinks, the cookies are AMAZING so I can't help but indulge every time I come in. They are busy because they are GOOD and I never mind waiting for a quality coffee or matcha. If you're in a hurry you can even order ahead on the Joe app!"
"We love coming to holiday cafe for play dates and to just hang out! Our little guy loves the play space and staff! The location is so convenient for parents who are looking for inexpensive ways to entertain their kids 🤪 especially with the library and park right across the street! Their coffee is delicious which is a plus!"
