from Google"I've had this bookmarked for quite sometime now and I've been wanting to try this place.Thankfully, on Thursday 1/22/26, I was in the area and I was a bit hungry and wanting some hot beverage. I found on Yelp that Volcano coffee was within 5 minutes of my location. This was definitely a random visit which turned into a wonderful one. Upon my entry, I was greeted with a cheerful "Good Morning " by one of the ladies (employee/possibly owner) and had made eye contact. I advised it was my first visit and if she didn't mind me taking some updated photos of the business as Yelp had old pictures. She stated "You're more than welcome, let me know when you're ready to order". I thanked her and I would holler. The place was larger than I expected. The building didn't look as big on the outside. I guess I was fooled. LOL! 😂 The ambiance was clean, comfortable with cozy lounge furniture and dining tables. There is a Fireplace, however, was not in use as it was warm inside. The Christmas tree was still up. I was advised by one of the ladies that they leave it up and change the theme throughout the year. I thought that was pretty neat. Drive thru is available. After looking through the menu. I opted to order the sausage egg muffin breakfast $6.50. This was good. I also ordered a Masala Chai latte with coconut milk ☕️ $6.30 (inclusive of up charge $.75). This was recommended by one of the ladies and had claimed it was her favorite drink. I enjoyed this drink very much! 😋 I also had a warmed apple fritter $3.05 which was good. 😋 The three ladies that were working on that day were so joyful, full of smiles and laughter. I could tell they had great chemistry and enjoyed working there. I believe one of them was the owner. They surely made my morning and my day. I left merrily on my way to run the rest of my errands. I shall be back! 🤩"
"If I'm in the area, I'm coming by here for coffee, especially before a drive up to Mt. Ranier. Even if you can't stay, the quality of coffee is great when you're on the go. Even their standard black coffee is good but I normally order the Avalanche. They also have a diverse selection of pastries. If you have time I'd go inside to enjoy one. They have plenty of available seating inside and it's so nice to sometimes get a couch seat near their fireplace to enjoy your drink."
"The coffee is usually really good and the customer service is usually really good but went there today and bad a horrible experience coffee not so great and when I said if she could make it more sweet or add cream she said well you should have asked for that before and I had and normally not a problem. The red hair gi was rude and that comment was uncalled for. But hopefully next time we have a better experience."
"I really enjoyed my time there! Looking around, I could see that a few things were in disrepair (like lights, tables, some chairs), but nothing that directly affected me or my time there. It’s warm, cozy, comfortable, and the service was quick. Real friendly baristas too."
"Such a cute little coffee shop! We had dirty chai lattes and donut holes. Both were super tasty! Lots of fun seasonal drinks and pastries to try"
