What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"4th Ave Espresso Bar is honestly one of my go-to spots whenever I’m in downtown Seattle. It’s inside the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, and it’s such a comfortable and welcoming place to grab coffee. They serve Caffè Ladro, a local roastery from Queen Anne, and the coffee is always really good — smooth, strong, and consistent. Whether it’s a latte, cappuccino, or cold brew, everything tastes great every time. Their pastries are also really solid. Fresh croissants, muffins, scones, cookies, breakfast sandwiches — a nice mix of items, and they’re always displayed nicely. It’s perfect whether you’re rushing to a meeting or just taking a minute to relax. What keeps me coming back is the service. The staff is friendly, fast, and always in a good mood. They make you feel welcome right away, which is rare these days. If you’re staying at the Fairmont or just walking by, it’s definitely worth stopping in. Great coffee, great team, and an all-around good vibe."
"4th Ave Espresso Bar - A Hidden Gem for Breakfast and Coffee Lovers If you’re in the mood for a delicious breakfast and great coffee, 4th Ave Espresso Bar is a must-visit. Their breakfast burrito is absolutely fantastic – packed with flavor and the perfect start to your day. The coffee menu is just as impressive. The iced white mocha is rich and creamy, hitting all the right notes, while the vanilla chai with espresso is a unique, top-notch blend that’s perfect for those who like a little spice with their caffeine. The service is quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a fast, yet satisfying breakfast or coffee break. Overall, this cozy spot is perfect for grabbing a tasty meal or enjoying a well-crafted drink. Highly recommend!"
"It's a no. Overpriced mid coffee. Maybe the ratio was off? Because my 20oz cup "Olympics Honey Coffee" didn't taste like coffee at all, just sweet milk. Nobody like Mondays and it was early but the team was in a bad mood / sulking... Tried once, will not anymore. Can't rate the food. I didn't try it because 14$ for an empty bagel or frozen piece of cake seemed a bit expensive 😅"
"I used to be here every morning with my husband. It is a beautiful place. Eric is the best. One year later after my husband promoted to his new position, it’s not as good as before. The almond croissant is not fresh. We used to have one almond croissant to share with two cortados every morning. I know the taste of Fairmont’s almond croissant. Is just not like that. I keep this three stars for our memories."
"Very nice place for siting back and enjoying some great sweets and coffee. It’s small and cozy and more of a pastry boutique not merely just an espresso bar. You can buy there cakes and a variety of delicious and very pretty pastries and desserts. Prices are not crazy either, very competitive and affordable. They serve Ladro coffee. A must try for sweets and lattes are nice as well."
"Great spot for getting a quick coffee or pastry. Tucked away in the corner of the Fairmont Olympic hotel. Their service is fast and the coffee is pretty..."
