from Google & Yelp"Silk smooth brews, the mochas (both hot and iced) and not overly sweet (which is my main issue with most mochas in the country)."
"This coffee place is so easy to miss! This place was recommended to me for their baked goods. And, the recommendation was spot on! I tried the buckwheat banana bread - it was soo good!! Dense, moist and delicious! Everything you’d expect from a banana bread! I also loved how filling it was too! I also tried the pistachio matcha with oat milk - I didn’t know what to expect but quite liked it and would recommend it too, if matcha is your thing. 🙂 They’ve a lot of art pieces on the walls and have seating upstairs - check the place out - it is a very inviting and happy place! They’ve some glassware for sale as well! You can check those out along with all the wine bottles in there!!"
"This small and hip coffee shop in Ballard is a neighborhood gem. During my visit, Gabriel the barista is really nice and friendly and he made a great cup of latte. Besides coffee, pastry and other beverages, the shop also carries a wide selection of (natural) wines with taste notes on many of them, it looks like a great place to pick up a bottle for any occasions. There is a small but charming indoor seating area at the back of the store and a larger outdoor patio on Ballard Ave."
"Peculiar coffee shop in the heart of Ballard. The layout is a little clunky as it appears to be an old house converted into a coffee shop. Not much they can do about that, but it still feels clunky. I didn't feel inclined to stay and hang out more than 15 mins. The shop ended up being pretty busy while I was there with a single barista, so the service was a bit slow. I ordered a Mocha and Hot Chocolate and both drinks were decent, but I don't think I'd go back given all the options available."
"The Mocha I had was very impressive, brewed with the espresso blend roasted by the Kuma Coffee Roasters. Though I have been a fan of this roasters for several years, I had never tasted their espresso blend (or any other blends). They also have very impressive selections of wines from all over the world for retail. Has anyone had a wine from Slovania? If they were to offer pour over, I would rate this place 5 stars."
"Came in on a Sunday early in the morning before the farmers market opened. The barista was friendly and offered recommendations since I hadn't been in..."
