"Great atmosphere and interior! Awesome for doing work, studying, or just chatting with friends. Lots of seating options. The coffee quality seems really great but I didn’t really taste as much espresso as I’d like and the nutty flavor of the bean I chose was overpowering. There was also a fruit fly that kept trying to get in my latte 😔"

"This is one of my favorite cafes on the ave and I have tried a lot if not most of them. The atmosphere here is perfect, so much so that regardless of the time you come people will always be here because it’s such a nice place to sit and do work with great coffee. One issue that this place does have is when I went in the fall there were a lot do fruit flies, one got into my drink but the barista was nice enough to make me a new one free of charge. I love this place! Prices aren’t too bad either."

"First, this place is stunning in its vibe and look! There is a growing trend of coffee shops that look incredible, but when you stop to taste the coffee it does not match the environment. Ancient Gate seems to have an excellent line of up of speciality coffees - the Wilton Benitez (Columbia Yellow Bourbon) on spro was so tasty. Second, the team here is incredible friendly and passionate about coffee. Which is hard to find in Seattle! Cheers to this coffee shop! As a long time resident of Seattle, this place makes my coffee heart so happy!"

"Wonderful ambience! Reminded me of Milan (the design concept of newer interiors) I can actually focus and work here, so are many others. There also great social spots as many came in groups setting and enjoying their time here."
