"Benedict with Fried Potatoes I visited the Blue Star Café in Wallingford many years ago and enjoyed my meal there. The café has been serving great food specializing in eggs since 1975. I stopped in for brunch one afternoon. The café has a warm comfortable vibe. I had the Seattle Benedict, which included English Muffin, poached eggs, smoked salmon, and hollandaise sauce. For a side dish I had grilled red potatoes. It was delicious and much better than I remember! If you are an eggs benedict, breakfast or salmon fan you must try this dish! The eggs were cooked perfectly and topped with just the right amount of hollandaise, so the dish was not drowning. The potatoes also were fantastic. Sadly, the service left me wanting. Next time I’ll try earlier in the day."

"First the good! Orange juice was 10/10 and is squeezed in house. Tasted great. Fries were battered crispy seasoned to perfection. Beef Dip Missed the mark by a wide margin. Asked for horseradish on the side. Come on it and the side. The remade item came out quickly enough and without the horseradish. However, because of the hurry the bread wasn’t properly toasted. This made the new sandwich was mushy. The bits of beef were plentiful and dare I say a little too large? But lack of flavor was what really did this in for me."

"This establishment is a good place for neighborhood food and drinks. Located in Wallingford this eatery offers pub and American casual fare. The decor is “Seattle Eclectic” -think old wood, tiles and vintage photos on the wall. Although I didn’t have a cocktail I did notice the large selection of liquors and beer on tap. My meal was the cheeseburger with bacon and it was delicious. A large beef patty cooked to order with lettuce, pickles and tomatoes on the side all served on a delicious brioche bun. Rounded off with some really tasty French fries and I was very content."

"We enjoyed a great breakfast here. We got here around 9:45 on a Saturday right before the rush. Service was great, kept our coffee full and got our food out quickly. We started with the big cinnamon roll quick pretty good. The picture doesn't show it, but there was lots of icing. Huge for two people so we took the rest home for dinner. I had a delicious scramble with goat cheese and smoked salmon. Delicious. My husband has the breakfast burrito which was also good and huge. Definitely a big portion of potatoes. I also got a biscuit which was so good. We took a lot of leftovers for sure, so order wisely as they don't skimp on portions. They looked to have options for gluten free bread. All in all great breakfast and we'd definitely come back. Plenty of street parking around."

"This was the worst coffee and cheesecake I’ve ever had. The cheesecake was literally frozen and impossible to eat and the coffee just tasted very bad! In the picture you can see it glittering since it’s frozen."
