"Cafe Lulu is one of my husband's and I's favorite coffee shops in Seattle, and certainly our top one in the Greenlake area. That being said, we've recently had issues because there is one barista there that is consistently late every time she works. I unfortunately do not know her name - it is the one with short light blonde hair. Multiple times a week she is late, and not by a few minutes but many times 30 minutes up to an hour. We often try to get coffee before we work and are unable to do so because she is late so frequently. Once she gets there she is also slow to get going, slow to get the pastries/breakfast items ready, and there is usually already a line of people who have been waiting for them to open. By contrast, many of the other baristas, especially Simon, are great and always on time! This is the one issue we have, but it's becoming a bigger deal to us as this barista is the one who is often there on weekdays in the morning when we get coffee. I'm not sure if the owner/her boss knows how late she often is, which is the reason we're leaving this review. If they do know, I have no idea why she is still employed there."

"I stopped in on a morning bike ride for an espresso and granola with oat milk. The spro was smooth and balanced, not overly dark. The granola had pepitas, quinoa, and pecans; good crunch and sweeter than I expected. I also picked up an asiago bagel for my wife. There are seven or eight tables inside, only one person sitting. There's a bench and one table outside. It was 8:30 on a Monday and there was no line when I got there, though 2 or 3 people trickled in as I was waiting."

"This café has such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the pastries are always fresh. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome every time. It’s definitely my favorite spot to relax or meet friends!”"

"My favorite cafe in the city. I don't drink coffee but their chai is incredible as are all of their pastries. I take all my visitors here, the staff is always super friendly and the space is really cozy and nice. I love the rotating artwork they always have up."
