What People Are Saying
from Google"Caffe Ladro (location: Fremont) Coffee: 4/5 (solid) Light: 4/5 (w/ windows and natural light) Seating: 4/5 (variety: 4-tops + solo tables + window seats) Overall ★★★★, good community cafe, quiet for focus"
"I have no complaints about this place, and I view it as one of the best cafes in Seattle. The atmosphere here is absolutely serene and sophisticated: I went here around Halloween the first time, and there were a few decorations scattered about, but nothing tawdry or overbearing. The ambiance here is classy without being pretentious, the perfect place to come and work with your laptop or simply bask in the atmosphere and watch the rainfall outside. As a tea lover, I exalt the fact that there is an actual tea menu here, and not just one or two tea options among all the coffee options. I delighted in the refinement of a nice Earl grey and looked out at the rainy world outside the windows while eating an enormous glazed raspberry scone. If you are in Fremont, please come here."
"Although now living in California, when I visit my kids and grandchildren in Seattle I always stop in to Café Lladro. When we lived in Ballard, I liked to work at the Café to do a little work on my architecture drawings there. The Capuccino I had there on Sunday was one of the best presentations and tasteful I have had anywhere."
"The staff are absolutely amazing. I was passing through town after buying a Volvo, and the person working as lovely, recommending a shop to have my car checked out while I was in town. I felt right at home here, and the food was amazing. I hope I can come back some day❣️"
"Shoutout to the white guy with glasses at the register who has mastered the art of serving absolutely nothing—not a hello, not a nod, not a “thanks,” not even the faintest sign I existed. Just the cold, blank energy of someone who thinks acknowledging customers is optional. This was 9/30/25 at 2pm. Ordering felt less like buying coffee and more like interrupting a man in the middle of his brooding novel about how he’s too good for this world (and definitely too good for this job). If he were any more checked out, I’d have had to ring myself up. Coffee was fine. Service was like walking into a wall of silence wrapped in judgment."
