from Google"Visited Deadline with a lot of anticipation — but it felt like just another bar, though with better ambience and a menu that doesn’t really stick to any particular cuisine. With very few vegetarian options, here’s what we tried: 🍲 Potato Leek Soup Yes, potato leek soup — and it was surprisingly delicious. Easily the star of the meal. I’d go back just for this soup. Creamy, flavorful, and served with buttered bread that paired perfectly. Absolutely recommended. 🫓 Quesadilla A pretty average quesadilla. The cheese and the dip lacked flavor, though the fresh crema drizzled on top did make it slightly more enjoyable. Still, it could’ve been much better. 🫘 Black Bean Arepas This one missed the mark. It tasted like a thick black-bean-only patty topped with avocado and pickled onions, but the overall flavor was flat. For the price, I expected something with more depth and appeal. Not great. 🍋 Lemon Cake Our server hyped up the lemon cake, but it was disappointing. Not fluffy, and the coating was overly lemony in a harsh way. At $15, this dessert didn’t feel worth it at all. Overall: I’m left with mixed feelings, but honestly, considering the price point, the experience felt underwhelming. The ambience is nice, but the food didn’t quite live up to the hype — except for that incredible potato leek. Seating is very limited and make sure to book in advance."
"Super cool experience here. This is a hole in the wall bar, dinner place. Came on a Friday night when they were pretty full and got sat at the "chef's table". This means you are seated literally right in front of the kitchen and can actually see and talk to the chefs. Originally I thought this would suck, but it actually ended up being the best table in the house. The chefs was very cool and chatted with my boyfriend and I. Another plus was we received our food quicker, directly from him. He even gave us a complimentary little dish they were trying out. We didn't try a lot on the menu we just wanted some charcuterie and wine. Got both the meat and cheese plate and they were both amazing good size to share and came with little things to pair the meat and cheese with like pickled veggies, dried figs etc. We also got the brussel sprouts and these were amazing! Perfect combination of sweet, savory, crispy. Seems like a great neighborhood spot if you are near pioneer square."
"Highly recommend this place! My wife and I stopped by for drinks after our dinner, and this place blew us away. The attention to detail in everything they do is immediately evident as soon as you walk in. The place is immaculate, the decor is unbelievably gorgeous, and the drinks are arguably some of the best we’ve ever had. Towards the end of our night, we were fortunate enough to speak to Michael, our bartender for the evening, and in speaking to him it didn’t take long to realize just how much pride he takes in his craft. His passion is effortlessly poured into every cocktail he creates. 10/10 and it’s not even close. Ps. Try his Paloma! The best we’ve ever had, no question about it!"
"Stumbled across this gem & was pleasantly surprised! Love the vibe of the restaurant. The bartenders and serving staff were so pleasant and had lots of knowledge on the food and drinks. We chose everything based off of recommendation and were so pleased with what we got. That lemon cake was top tier. I’d go back for that alone."
"This is an amazing place, with arguably the best cocktails in Seattle. If Michael is behind the bar, don't order from menu but ask for a custom-tailored drink, and he will create something wonderful. The no-meny approach may be hit or miss and heavily depends on the bartender, but Michael made masterpieces for myself and everyone in my party, we all were extremely pleased with the results. Top-notch cocktail experience."
