What People Are Saying
from Google"Ive been staring at this place for years and finally started coming in this year. The first visit, I tried a wheat sesame bagel with honey almond cream cheese. It was divine. Today I took my time and built my own bagel. The bagels are so perfect with just the right amount of chewyness and crunch, unlike most overwhelmingly chewy bagels. I LOVE the generous amount of cream cheese! That is the only way to enjoy a bagel imo. I'm excited to try the Shakshuka next."
"Eltana is such a gem in Capitol Hill! The bagels were absolutely delicious, perfectly chewy with great flavor, and the overall vibe of the shop was really nice and welcoming. It does get a little busy, and parking in the area can be tricky, but it’s 100% worth it once you’re inside with a fresh bagel in hand. One thing I really loved is that they offer the Hidden 36 menu, which lets you purchase a meal for a family in need. Such a thoughtful program that makes enjoying your meal feel even more meaningful. Definitely recommend stopping by for great bagels, a good atmosphere, and a chance to support a place that also gives back to the community."
"Really yummy. The gluten-free bagels are certainly not the best I’ve ever had, but they do the job. Nearly empty (Monday afternoon) and had a lot of places to sit, so would be nice to study."
"The atmosphere is industrial but cozy. There is a good variety of bagels to choose from and many different toppings. I love the large amount of cream cheese they put and the flavor of the bagels. They also have a good variety of drinks that go well with their yummy bagels. I highly recommend stopping in and trying a fresh bagel."
"Got the rainbow bagel with almond honey cream cheese. Very good, a bit too much cream cheese for me but still delicious. The picture is after id scraped half of the cream cheese off."
