"The ube latte was excellent and much better than I expected ☕️💜 I originally visited for the Russian pastries, but I ended up enjoying the coffee even more. I ordered two piroshky flavors: cornpoling and smoked salmon & cream cheese. The staff were very kind and warmed up the pastries for me, which I appreciated 😊 The pastries were good, though I personally preferred the ones I’ve had at Pike Place Market. One thing to note is that the seating area could use a bit more attention to cleanliness. Some of the fabric seats appeared worn, and there were a few fruit flies during my visit, which slightly affected the dining experience. Overall, I would still recommend this spot especially for takeout, and I would definitely return for the ube latte and to try more of their coffee drinks ✨💜☕️"

"The idea of combining piroshki with filipino flavors made me want to come to this bakery. I was skeptical at first, but the fusion works well! I love both piroshkis and filipino food, and it did not disappoint. We had the chicken adobo, butter chicken, and bicol. Really enjoyed the adobo and butter chicken flavors! In regards to pricing, the piroshkis were four for ~$38. Being from San Francisco (now Daly City), we have a couple of bakeries in the Richmond district that are priced less at around $5-$6 apiece, so it was a little more expensive than what I'm used to. After experiencing both the high quality, and visiting the dining room, the price is justified. The workers are making the dough just feet away from the dining tables. The restaurant is clean, and it seems that a lot of love is put into making these tasty piroshkis 😋! If you plan to go with a friend or two, I'd suggest trying several flavors and sharing. After that 1st experience, then you can go back to pick your favorite and try another flavor to satisfy your curiosity. I commend the people behind this unique place. Every time I go to Seattle, I'll try to visit this place for some good comforting food 👍"

"This place is solid if you want to try Filipino/Polish (Eastern European) fusion food. It’s a delightful combination. I enjoyed the chicken adobo piroshki but it was a little too strong on the vinegar flavor; I’ve had plenty of adobo that was more balanced. With tax and tip, this one piroshki came to $12 which seems to be the going rate these days in Seattle. That said, I would try this place again if I just want to grab a snack. Atmosphere-wise, I went on a Saturday during the height of lunch hour and it was very busy. Tables were full so, either come earlier or later if you want a table, or do takeout! I grabbed a table before I got into the Order line bc I knew there wouldn’t be any left by the time I was done ordering. The ordering line is a little chaotic and it’s not clear how you get your food as there is no number on the receipt or ticketing situation or anything. They don’t ask for your first name either or tell you if it’s bussed to your table. Nothing. They call out your order by the items you order which is super confusing. This could easily be done in a more efficient manner especially when it’s so chaotic on a Saturday."

"First time trying a pinoyshki (savory Filipino/Russian fusion bun). Pleasantly surprised with the variety of flavors. A number of vegetarian and vegan options. I had the tofu filled bun. Great flavor. The bread was my favorite part. It was super soft and fluffy but able to hold all the filling without getting soggy or falling apart. I initially thought $9 was a bit pricey but it is a loaded bun, very filling."

★★★★★

"The vegan options were kind of gross on the inside (mainly on the scramble). The outside bread part was amazing though. I think they need to add some black salt (kala namak) to the tofu scramble one, for a more eggy flavor. Also the beef and cheese needs more cheese in it. For $9 per, they should be a bit better is all. The vegan sticky bun was amazing though! So good!"
