"What a great place to get different types of matches and drinks around University of Washington. Very friendly service and clean spot to dine in. The matcha had a more bitter and umami taste than I expected. However, I did ask for 50% sweetness. I think if I were to go back, I would try something else than the banana cookie matcha that I ordered. Overall good spot and I would come back."

"I’ll admit- I walked into Snooze Cafe a bit skeptical after seeing a TikTok claiming their matcha was watered down A huge banner outside reading “new ownership” convinced me to give this place a shot. And was I surprised. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk, and it honestly reminded me of Japan: smooth, well-balanced, but not over powering. I’ve definitely had my fair share of mid tasting matcha (aka Starbucks) and I was expecting Snooze to be the same. But after the first sip, you’ll know that this is some real quality matcha. The cashier even shared that the shop doesn’t make much profit from the drinks— but it’s really about the owners dream of sharing the authentic matcha experience with others. Beautiful space, and amazing drink. I’ll absolutely be coming back to try more of their menu"

"I walked in today thinking I’d get an ordinary matcha drink. I was so wrong I ordered the banana cookie matcha drink. Absolutely delicious would definitely order again perhaps a bigger size 🤩 10/10 drink you can taste the banana, the matcha and the cookie crumbs. Excellent customer service! And the place had a nice vibe to it."

"I came to try the pistachio matcha and unfortunately, I had high expectations for this place. I was told the only pistachio part was the foam, which was made with real pistachios and would be buttery. It turned out quite grainy and messed with the texture of the drink. The drink was also too watery so not enough oat milk was added. It didn’t have a lot of flavor to it in general, couldn’t taste the pistachio. Expect to spend 10 dollars on a regular tasting matcha."

"Came in to try Snooze after hearing they underwent new ownership. Was greeted with a warm welcome and a new menu. Tried their "Matcha Bomb" and Earl Grey Matcha Latte. The matcha bomb contained two shots of vietnamese coffee, matcha from Yame, and had a salty cream foam with it. The matcha bomb was amazing! I was hesistant at first because I never seen a combination like this, but I was able to taste all the ingredients without one overpowering one another. The earl grey matcha was also great. The earl grey tea was strong and noticiable while also retaining the matcha blended into it as well. Would come back to try their other drinks as well!"
