"Love the concept, hate the lighting. I get that they're going for a "cozy" feeling with the dim lighting, but even with the portable table lamps it's very difficult to see well enough to work with darker yarns. I strongly recommend bringing your own portable bright light source or only bring projects that use lighter yarns and big stitches. I like it well enough to come back (with my own lamp!), but I had to knock a star off for the poor lighting in a venue that's meant to be a communal workspace for fiber artists. If they improve the lighting then I will change my rating to 5 stars."

"I went in not really expecting much but found a delightful and charming place. The atmosphere was nice, quiet, but not completely without noise. Everyone seemed to either be softly chatting or working on a project. There was an upstairs area that I didn't check out, but seemed quite large to me since people kept appearing and disappearing throughout my time at the cafe. There isn't a wide yarn selection, and they don't sell any hooks, needles, or any other crafting supplies beyond a few crochet kits and yarn. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're here to buy supplies. I didn't look too much into the yarn, but they do carry some of Yarn Dragon's skeins (and is mostly merino?), and what appeared to me as some mercerized cotton yarns. The owner is really sweet and nice. I got a hojicha latte and it was warm and delightful. She brought me a lamp from upstairs when it got a bit dark downstairs and I was working on my crochet project which I greatly appreciate. She was working on a scarf when I came in and didn't seem bothered when she would have to step away from the project to help customers or generally maintain the store. The bathrooms are clean and have period products in stock which is also something I appreciate even though I didn't need them."

"I am not a yarn or crochet person but I liked the crow mascot so I stopped by for Shay (the crow). The cafe has warm lighting and the seating was comfortable upstairs. If I had brought my laptop I would have stayed longer and worked for sure. They seemed to have some craft kits available on a table for customers, as well as portable lamps you could take if you needed extra light. They have an art wall on the stairs that have local artists' contributions that change every 2 months, which I thought was very cool. I thought there would only be yarn art but there were also paintings that fit the seasonal vibes! The workers are very friendly and I got my hojicha latte quickly. They didn't charge extra for oat milk which is always a pleasant surprise. The latte had strong hojicha flavor and had smooth texture. I think a downside is that they don't have any savory foods, but honestly I think that's fair considering how many other food options there are around here. I would definitely stop by after lunch to grab a drink, finish up some work, and rest before heading back home!"
