"The problem with room service is that it takes about 1 1/2 hours to get your food and it bearly warm. It broders on the line of cold. The plates in the warming container are cold. I just throw the food away. I hope they can start doing a better job for what they are charging us."

"Probably the worst food offering on the entire UW campus. Half the time the regular options are out, inconsistent offerings, used to have a panini press- now that’s gone too. Sad because it serves so many students on this end of campus. Complaints and letters do nothing for improvement."

"Honestly the worst university cafe I have seen in a career that has spanned more than 30 years and 5 universities. First of all, they have virtually no lunch options -- their "menu" has been repeatedly downgraded, to the point where it is now little more than a snack/junk food stand. Worst yet, the unappetizing food they do sell is insanely overpriced. To make matters worse, the clerks usually are nowhere to be found, so you often can't even buy a snack because there is no one around to ring you up. If you pay with credit card they never offer you a receipt (which you have a legal RIGHT to), and sometimes won't give you one even if you ask."

"Appears UW has no drive to supply their students, staff, and faculty with affordable and available food. Constant missing stock or snacks and food, especially in the summer."

"Last year, this was my favorite food option on campus. They had hot food options that were actually pretty health-conscious and appetizing. That's all gone now, and they now only offer the same mini-mart fare that you can get at a bunch of other places on campus. I wouldn't have minded if they'd just raised the prices, but instead they've taken away essentially everything that made this place worth going to. I'm still processing the sting of the disappointment from trying to go here last month after not having been in a while. It's a real shame."
