"Although Union Saloon sits on a wide street corner, it feels tucked away and in its own space-time... Laid back, filled with recognized regulars eating their usual and chilling out. What a beautiful, comfortable, casual space. The menu succeeds at elevated comfort food on a level I wish we'd see more often. Regulars were quick to share their favorite dishes and why, how I couldn't go wrong and to definitely try the hot sauce (they're right). It was hard to decide between the Fried Chicken and Waffle, Chile Verde or Hash (with duck confit or brisket... Yum!) I opted for the Chile Verde with a delicious biscuit. I'll be back soon for the Hash."

"food was extremely good. definitely recommend checking out this restaurant. drinks were good. service was detached but its worth going just for the food. the cold eggplant sandwich is insane. in my opinion it doesn’t look that great but it has about 4 layers of flavors and you can almost taste them separately. incredible! saw lots of people getting the caesar salad. should be good!"

"Had a last-minute brunch on a Sunday and was delighted to dine here. All 5 of us fit comfortably into a booth. Street parking was easy. The place was busy with the aire of calmness. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I shared the waffle and pork verde. Both are excellent choices. Pork was so tender, the egg perfectly poached, and the dish wasn't over sauced. The waffle had the outer crunch I crave in a waffle, and the lemon ricotta combo was sublime. There was even a nice rhubarb-lemon NA spritzer I was able to enjoy. Great pre meal drink. "Cute little saloon with a great decor. We went for a Sunday brunch and I was pleasantly surprised. I took the fried chicken with waffles. The fried chicken was pretty good and spicy. Paired well with the gravy and the waffles. I usually get the waffles on the side so that it stays crunchy all the way but this time I forgot to mention. Nevertheless I was in a race against the gravy making my waffles soft. My wife got the oyster mushroom omelette which was very good as well. The potatoes were really nice, flavorful with a crispy texture. Overall great place will definitely come again."
